I had a basic service on my road bike at Cycle Power and received excellent service. The guys are very simple to deal with, I needed new tyres and was contacted by phone to advise on options available to me before any further work was started. No pressure selling and no additional charge to replace them as I bought a pair from the shop.
I’ve been cycling for over 10 years and I have to say this was the best experience I’ve had!
I came quite late in the afternoon as I got a flat tyre and Charlie said that even though he’s busy he will do his best to fix my bike before the closing time - saving me a 30 min uber trip home !!!
He was very professional and explained different types of tyres and what would be best for my bike considering when/where I use it. Sometimes, in other bike shops, I feel a bit silly for not knowing the basics of bikes; but Charlie was very nice and patient and explained things to me which I appreciated a lot:)

Great fast service. I was let down by a bike service centre very local to here, who had forgotten they'd booked me in, and weren't even present on the agreed day of drop-off - in fact a small child opened the door. All very strange... ANYWAY! So at VERY short notice, Cycle Power took my bike in and sorted the brakes for a fair price, and great great service. Thank you. So glad I accidentally found you!
Last year September 2024 I had my Orbea hybrid racing bike serviced by cycle power.i was very happy with the service .
Recently I returned as I was having problems with the battery/electrics so Mark reset the software and apart from a few small issues it seems to be ok. They went out there way to resolve the problems that I had. I definitely recommend cycle power. Anthony
So annoyed at the owner for throwing away my nice seat which needed a cover and replacing it with a horrible one which was costly. The bloke was not helpful or friendly and seems to be too busy to give you the time of day. He had no right to throw my original seat away and most probably kept it to make more money. So disgusted with this bloke and feel sorry for his staff. Family run business my backside. Very rude and aggressive all his staff warned me that he could be funny.
He responded saying I should have said, well
I mentioned the seat on collection he had already disposed of it. Didn't want to say too much as the bloke was aggressive.
He even rang me pestering when I was five minutes late on collection of the bike.
He also wrote contact me, why would I after being treated in such a horrible manner.
He wrote we have no details of bike being booked in. " It was you who booked it in".
And you know exactly what happened because you emailed me privately.

Hi Paul, I am sorry you felt the need to write this, rather than speak with us. If you would like to confirm the date you came in, I am happy to look into it? We went back over months of records and have been unable to find your bike booking.
I also would like to clarify that we do not throw away anything without the customers permission and we certainly do not change items for the sake of it.
