I had an appointment where a dental hygienist broke my bottom permanent retainer. Literally had metal hanging out my mouth. I insisted…… you broke it, you fix it!! They had me wait in the lobby until closing just to say I’d need to reschedule an appointment for a later date or I can see my orthodontist to repair. Again, you broke it & I have metal literally hanging out of my mouth. Half of the retainer was stuck on my teeth while the other half was literally hanging out my mouth. Their office refused to repair same day. They stressed to see my orthodontist & have him repair it.
My ortho was on vacation so I had two choices- leave hanging medal in my mouth for over a week or just completely remove my retainer. I choose to remove it. I mean- what was I supposed to do? Cut my lips and gums for a week?
Fast forward to meeting with My orthodontist- he confirmed since it’s broken, they cannot repair, I’d have to fully replace. So I left with clean teeth, a broken retainer, and a new $300 orthodontist bill to fix what the dental office broke. They then try to make it better with “your teeth won’t shift. I’ve had my retainer off for years & nothing happened” totally besides the point!! YALL BROKE IT!!! And now I’m stuck with the repair fee.
I wouldn’t recommend this office. The only perk is they’re open “after hours” and work good with work schedules, but that’s it.
When I say everyone is friendly and wants to take care of you,that would be a understatement. The treatment I received was phenomenal Elizabeth the hygienist that cleaned my teeth was very thorough And pain free. I will be back and I live in Metairie it's worth it.

I have received excellent care at this practice. Dr.Thompson is a top notch dentist who is honest and offers exceptional dental care and educated me on how to improve my dental hygiene in between appointments. The environment is welcoming and relaxing. The care I have received here is super awesome. I recommend this dental practice. I feel confident in trusting my dental care with Dr. Thompson and her staff. The recommendations for dental care were overlooked by previous dentists I have used.

I can’t post a new review so I have to add to this one…
Because of my previous review on this office, Dr. Thompson confronted me about it, and stated that she didn’t want my experience to affect our business relationship. Now the office still to this day, 4 months later, has not called me to schedule an appointment to get the temporary crown replacement. I have reached out letting them know that I’m no longer comfortable receiving care from Dr. Thompson and she’s now refusing to refund me for the permanent crown she hasn’t put in my mouth. Instead of charge me what was paid for the tooth, she wants to charge me for the full service I no longer want. This has caused huge issues with my insurance. She has also sent me a bill with inaccurate dates and now sent it to a collector. Had I read reviews before coming here I would’ve never even had a first visit with Dr. Thompson. Please do your research!

Very disappointing experience with a health professional. My first appointment with Dr.Thompson, she looked in my mouth and typed on the computer a bit and left. Practically no communication. Never even said someone else was coming back to speak with me. Second appointment was ok. Temporary crown cracked and fell off the very next day. 2 days after my 2nd appointment I’m back to replace the temporary crown. The assistant asked if I wanted to change the channel. I did and changed it to Jamie Foxx show. When Dr. Thompson came in she immediately changed it while explaining her dislike for the show. I mentioned that I put the show on and she continued to put on Modern Family for her own entertainment while working on my tooth. Not once did she acknowledge her rude remarks or ask if there was something I wanted to watch. I am a customer service representative so I was very upset that there was no acknowledgment to what my preference would be. Even after criticizing my choice!!!

They are super nice here. One of the best dentists offices I’ve ever been to. It’s almost all women and so the atmosphere is very caring and professional. Unfortunately dental services are expensive everywhere but Crescent City has never made me feel pressured to spend more than I am able. I really like Dr Cleopatra, Maurina and Erica was great too.

Unprofessional and deplorable. Dental "issues" are created in order to file as many claims as possible with your insurance. Front desk communication is laughable. Having an appointment doesn't mean you won't sit and wait for all her walk-ins. Engaged in unnecessary conversation in the presence of my child. Unreliable, sloppy, dangerous. This "dentist" needs to have her license revoked. Do yourself a solid & find dental care elsewhere.

My experience with Crescent City Dentistry was very good.
Everything from scheduling the appointment to the actual work that needed to be done went as planned.
The office is very neat and they have all the equipment needed.
Due to the extensive work that needed to be done, I dealt with Ms. Miruna and Ms. Cleopatra. Both of them were outstanding professionally, making sure that everything is done right, taking X rays and double checking their work.
