We hired a V69 campervan from Craic N Campers, for a few days just to see if it suited us and our two dogs prior to considering a purchase of our own. I have to say Joe was a real gentleman who couldn't have been more helpful. The campervan was in a great condition, very economical to drive and fairly easy to get used to, despite its size. Overall, if we hire again or choose to purchase one ourselves we will definitely return to Craic N Campers.
My wife and I had a van for seven days to tour the Wild Atlantic Way, I must say the van was superb in every way and the fact it was automatic made handling the tight corners and very narrow roads a dream. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending Craic N Campers we would use them again in a heart beat.

We’ve rented campers from Joe for Electric Picnic a few times now. It has been such a good experience. The campers have all been in excellent condition (we had a new one this year which was pristine). Joe was patient & thorough in taking us through the controls etc, our car was secured while we were away (we live in Sligo so Roscommon was ideal to pick it up on the way). In dealing with Joe, he’s very accommodating & also up front about costs. We’re booked in very happily again for next year & would highly recommend Craic n Campers👍👍

Hired a camper a few weeks ago from the lads, Finian rang me on the Friday before we picked up left me a vouce message and when I rang him back he told me there may be a possibility that our camper would be ready for collection a bit earlier on the Monday. I said brilliant that would be great so he said he'd ring me on the Monday morning and keep in contact. Heard nothing in the Monday so we set off in hopes that it might be ready early. When we arrived the lads said that they never heard back from me on the Friday so we were put behind someone else. We finally got the camper after 2:30pm.
The camper itself was spotless and in very good condition. Unfortunately it was advertised as 6 berth which I took to mean could sleep 6 people? There was a lovely big double, almost queen size bed over the cab and 2 full size bunks. Perfect for 4 people. The last sleeping area was where the table folds down to make a double bed. This is for kids only as no way would an adult fit there without having to sleep with their legs bent all night. 2 of our party ended up sleeping in the gazebo that we brought for the 3 nights. I just think that the 6 berth should be advertised as suitable for 4 adults and 2 small kids. But no other complaints, the campers are well maintained and the people are friendly and helpful.

Firstly, I’m sorry for the mix-up around the early pickup. There was a breakdown in communication, and I completely understand how frustrating that must’ve been, especially when you were trying to plan ahead. From our last conversation I had suggested that I would call you on Monday morning to let you know if the camper was going to be available earlier than the scheduled 2pm pick up however that did not materialize as things worked out.
I’m glad to hear the camper itself met your expectations in terms of cleanliness and condition — we take a lot of pride in keeping them in top shape. As for the sleeping arrangements, you’ve raised a fair point. You guys had a Sunlight A72 which is the largest 6 berth vehicle in the fleet and has the largest dinette area bed also. While the layout technically allows for six sleepers, it’s true that the dinette bed is best suited for children. Your suggestion to clarify that it’s ideal for 4 adults and 2 small kids has been noted and we plan to update our listings to reflect that more accurately.

We rented a campervan from Craicncampers last weekend and had an absolute ball! From start to finish, the service was fantastic — friendly, helpful, and hassle-free. The van itself was super comfortable and had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing trip. Highly enjoyable experience all round — would definitely recommend and will be booking again!

We had a brillant experience hiring a camper van for the first time this summer from Craic n Campers. From start to finish, the process was professional & stress free.
