Cousins Coffee has some real charm Cousins Coffee has some real charm. The space feels cozy and local, and cassy and Danielle are friendly and happy to help you pick a drink based on your taste. I like that they support local bakers and vendors, and the farmers markets and paint-and-sip events are a nice touch for the community. That said, a few things held it back for me. The seating is limited, so finding a spot during busy hours can be frustrating. Prices also run a bit high for what you get, especially compared to other local shops nearby. And service can get slow when it's crowded, which happened more than once during my visits. It's a decent spot with good intentions, but the experience didn't quite live up to the hype for me. Worth trying once, though I wouldn't go out of my way again.

I finally stopped by this coffee shop after driving past it a few times I finally stopped by this coffee shop after driving past it a few times, and I'm so glad I did. The coffee was great, the food was delicious, and my avocado toast was good enough that I finished both slices without a second thought. Definitely a spot I'd been missing out on. There was one small moment that I wanted to share kindly. As I was bringing my plate up, a staff member made a light comment about how much I'd eaten said in a way that was probably meant as playful, but it landed a little differently for me, especially with others nearby. I didn't say anything in the moment because I didn't want to make it awkward, but I figured honest feedback might be helpful. I'm only sharing this because I want this place to do well you have clearly got something special here. A tiny shift in how staff chat with customers could make the experience even better. I'll definitely be back, and I'm rooting for you. Wishing you all the best

Such a cute shop!! Cousins were so friendly, and prices were great. The bathroom is awesome too (iykyk). We ordered the waffles, avo toast, reg toast, cake pops, lemon loaf, lemonade, flavored soda, and 3 iced coffees. It was all good. Also, the shop is beautiful, inviting, and clean. Their plants are for sale, too! Would definitely come here again and again!

Drink was so good I felt it needed a picturesque background. I ordered the raspberry hazelnut truffle and trust me when I say, it is amazing! Not sure how they captured the truffle flavor, but wow! Super sweet gals also! Going to suggest getting 32oz cups cause I need more of this in my life. ❤️❤️

Cousins Coffee has the best vibe! It’s a fun, cozy, neighborhood-feel, locally owned coffee shop. Cassy and Danielle are so friendly and give the best coffee advice depending on your taste and mood. I love that they support local vendors—bringing in local bakers, gardeners, and plants—and host farmers markets, as well as paint-and-sip coffee events. It’s my favorite coffee gem!

We wanted to check this place out and were pleasantly surprised. The 2 young lady's working behind the counter, I'm assuming the cousins in Cousins were so happy and friendly. That isn't very common in customer service anymore. Our drinks and food came out promptly and were so tasty. We will definitely be back for more quiche and coffee!

I drove past this coffee shop a few times and was so excited to try it. The coffee and food was great however, the worker that was there made a comment to me and brushed it off and said it was really good so I did not make a scene. I did not appreciate it and since I left it has been bothering me. I ordered the avocado toast and I was enjoying it that I ended up finishing both slices and when I went to put my plate up she said “oh you finished the whole thing?” Like it was a whole loaf…. NOT that it any of your business but the comment was completely rude and unnecessary, I’m sorry but you don’t make that comment to absolutely anyone and specially when you say it loud where others are around it is completely unprofessional and just because you saying that definitely makes me not want to come support your shop. I may be overreacting but at this point I don’t really care.

Let me tell you about Cousins Coffee. What a phenomenal spot that you should be adding to your next coffee run. What started as a coffee truck is now located in this cute spot in Peoria. Not only is it locally owned by two cousins of course, they showcase other local vendors like @beairded_housewife tasty bread and cinnamon rolls. If you’re still in need of some last minute gifts or you just love coffee and carbs like me they’re having an awesome holiday pop up on December 7th with tons of vendors. It’s free, pet friendly from 9-1pm . Check them out and spread the local love! Today’s drink of choice for me was the iced Honey Bear and chai for my daughter. Again, if you like all things local Cousins Coffee showcases so many small businesses/vendors including the beautiful plants inside the shop. Did I mention how cozy and cute it was inside?

We're from Virginia visiting our son who lives in the area. I visit coffee shops everywhere I go across the country and this place is A+++++ I got the iced white chocolate strawberry and my husband got an iced honey bear. Perfect amount of sweetness with very smooth coffee flavor. It was also cold top to bottom (some iced drinks we get are still warm from the espresso but this was a great temp throughout). Thank you - we may have to visit one more time before we head back to VA!!
