We had an incredible 2-day Corcovado tour with our guide Alonso Manuel, and it was truly an unforgettable experience.
Our journey started at Sirena Station, where we were already amazed by the incredible wildlife and nature. Later, we were dropped off by speedboat at a beautiful, remote spot where we set up our tents. From there, we hiked to a nearby beach and were rewarded with a breathtaking sunset — one of the most beautiful moments of the trip.
In the evening, we enjoyed a simple dinner under the stars. Everything about the experience was very basic and close to nature, and that’s exactly what made it so special and authentic.
The next day, the speedboat picked us up again and we continued our adventure with a fantastic tour at San Pedrillo Station. Alonso really went above and beyond to show us as many animals as possible. His knowledge about the wildlife and the history of the area was impressive, and he explained everything in a very engaging and informative way.
We can highly recommend Alonso Manuel to anyone looking for a genuine and memorable Corcovado experience!
We did an overnight tour into Corcovado National Park. Our guide, Donny, was fantastic. Although he's been guiding for 22 years, he was still very enthusiastic to show us all the animals, insects, and wildlife. We were amazed by what he could hear or see that we didn't. He worked hard to get us sightings of rare creatures including a tapir, an anteater, motmot, trogon, coati, a tarantula, sloths, and monkeys. The trip was definitely an experience to remember.
Luis Vega and OSA Wild Overnight at Sirena...all GREAT!
My wife and I booked a two night stay at Sirena Station in Corcovado with OSA Wild. We have used OSA Wild for day trips into Corcovado (La Leona and San Pedrillo) and they have always been very responsive and things have always happened as planned. This time was no exception...OSA Wild is GREAT! Since we started our overnight trip at Drake Bay we met our guide, Luis Vega, at Sirena after a very nice boat ride (Humpback whales!). The day before our trip we we decided to stay only one night and we let Luis know this on arrival. He was very supportive and made sure we had a boat back to Drake Bay the next day. After this bit of business Luis took great care of us, first getting us settled at the station and then showing us one wonder after another during the rest of the day and into the next. We can't say enough good about Luis. He is extremely knowledgable and has an eagle eye for spotting wildlife...we saw lots and lots (we especially loved seeing the nesting Trogon and Woodpecker). He is also just a really nice guy, and we enjoyed talking with him about things in general (his English is very good) during the down times (meals and rest breaks). We learned so much from Luis! Looking back we know that two nights at Sirena might have been too much for us (it's hot!), but we are glad we spent one night as we for sure saw more than we would have on a day trip. Thanks again to Luis and OSA Wild!
Absolutely recommended, especially with Kristina as guide
Great experience, seen a lot of animals, more than anywhere else in Costa Rica. Absolute added value to do an overnight stay because of the extra hikes you have with this. Sleeping may not be super comfortable, but all in all it is an experience. Meals were well catered for (although it would be good for the 5AM morning hike if there was perhaps something of fruit before departure not to leave on a completely empty stomach, the breakfast after the hike was very extensive) Kristina was also the best guide we could wish for. Her knowledge of flora and fauna, her keen eye for spotting animals, great telescope that she always managed to position very quickly, and incredible kindness we greatly appreciated. Definitely the best guide we have had in Costa Rica.
Leuke Sirena dagtour gedaan. Pikten ons op bij een strand langs de route. Met de goed begaanbare paden en groot aantal andere toeristen niet de wilde jungle ervaring die soms geschetst wordt, maar wel heel veel dieren gezien en zeker de moeite waard. Zelfs een slapende miereneter gespot! Als je in de buurt bent is dit een absolute must.
La note concerne la mauvaise organisation avec le tour opérateur auprès duquel on a payé 200$ pour 2 pour une excursion à la journée comprennant un lunch ( donc le midi)
Nous nous sommes présenté la veille pour confirmer notre équipement, et notre présence. La personne que nous avons eu à l'accueil nous a confirmer un repas buffet pour le déjeuner qui était compris. Nous avons donc payé un petit déjeuner à notre hôtel à 5h avant de partir.
Des notre arrivée à San Pedrillo, Donny notre guide avait prévu un petit déjeuner, dont nous n'avons pas profité car nous avions pris nos dispositions avant...
La visite guidée à été très enrichissante, Donny est un très bon guide et mérite 5 étoiles voir plus pour sa bonne humeur, sa patience et ses explications qui nous permis de voir différentes espèces d'animaux et de végétaux avec une passion contagieuse.
Nous n'avons pas été invité à participer au buffet avec les autres groupes.
À notre retour a Drake nous sommes allés à l'agence, et il a été difficile d'obtenir des explications. Nous avons eu dédommagement de 20$ après plusieurs relances. Ce qui ne paye pas un repas pour 2 sur Drake. Malheureusement ce détail nous à laissé un goût amer.
Tourist staircase
As far as we are concerned, this is an absolute tourist trap. The experience was very disappointing. The most remarkable thing is that we have seen considerably more birds and animals around our hotel than in this park itself.At the entrance you are treated as if you were entering a military zone, the reception is cold, unfriendly and totally unhospitable. Everything feels tightly organized, massive and purely focused on the flow of tourists, not on experience or nature.Our impression is that this park has turned into tourism. It is a “must-see”, and they know exactly that here, so service and attention seem to be completely lacking. You're treated like a number, not a guest.Very unfortunate, because the potential is there, but the execution makes it a disappointing experience.

The guides make the jungle readable.Corcovado would be overwhelming without them. Our guide team didn’t just point out animals—they taught us how to see. Tiny movements in the canopy, faint sounds in the brush, tracks in the mud we would’ve walked past without a second thought. Their knowledge, patience, and obvious love for the park turned the experience from a hike into an education.Greivin’s advice to “go with the flow” ended up being the key to everything—walking at the jungle’s pace, accepting what it chose to show us, and trusting that slowing down often revealed the most magical moments. That mindset didn’t just make the experience better; it felt essential to truly understanding Corcovado. Kenneth, the owner, was also a big part of what made this experience special. You can tell immediately how much Corcovado means to him—not just as a place to work, but as something he genuinely cares for and protects. That passion comes through in the way the trip is run and in the people he chooses to lead it. There’s a real sense of integrity behind the operation, and it made us feel like we were in good hands from start to finish.
A gennaio 2026 abbiamo fatto un overnight tour con Jairo (Yiro). Yiro ci ha fatti entrare in contatto con la natura del Corcovado facendoci comprendere come le diverse specie di flora e fauna del parco convivano e contribuiscano a creare un armonia davvero speciale.
Mijn vriend en ik hebben een 2 daagse tour naar La Sirena geboekt met Corcovado Info Center. Wat een onvergetelijke ervaring! Donny was een geweldige gids. Vrolijk en wel stond hij elke dag klaar voor ons om de jungle te bezoeken. We hebben zoveel gezien, van tapirs tot een tamandua en een krokodil, tot een tarantula en meer. De 2 daagse tour was min of meer een deepdive in Corcovado waarbij je allerlei dingen leerde, over het ontstaan van het park, over het oerwoud, over de dieren. Helemaal top!

The tour itself with Donny was nothing short of incredible, he has 20 years of experience and creates an information yet fun and entertaining tour. We spotted a family of humpback whales on our way to the park as well as some dolphins which made our day before even arriving.

The manager / owner Kenneth helped a lot with the booking as our original dates were booked out (it was last minute) and he managed to pull some strings and make it work for us.The tour itself with Donny was nothing short of incredible, he has 20 years of experience and creates an information yet fun and entertaining tour. We spotted a family of humpback whales on our way to the park as well as some dolphins which made our day before even arriving. Highly recommend.
This was a good company to take us into Sirena Station for the night. Our guide, Grieven, was excellent - friendly and very knowledgeable, and found us tons of wildlife. Our group was small with only 6 people, so we got to see a lot and ask a lot of questions.
The first day of the tour was well organized and we were picked up at our hotel on the beach, which saved us having to get a ride into town at 5:30 AM.
One con: you have to go into town a day prior to the trip to confirm and pay the balance. There was no one there at the office when we arrived, so had to call someone and wait a while, but someone did show up after a bit.
We also had a serious error happen with our booking. We had initially arranged doing 2 nights at Sirena Station. We thought the rest of our group would leave and we would stay another night. However, they did not arrange it this way. While I think we were supposed to go to San Pedrillo Station, they ended up having us stay outside the park at Campanario Station. This was actually pretty great - we had a small private bunk room, ocean front stay, and a quiet relaxing evening. Grieven took us to a lookout point for some great sunset pics and cooked us a nice dinner, and got his spotting scope out for the amazing full moon we had that night. We felt that 1 night at Sirena was sufficient, so we were happy for this mistake. However, the next day we didn't actually get to go into the National Park again because of the scheduling error. We ended up doing a long, hard 6-7 mile hike along the edge of the park, with an additional guide Nely being added to help since our guide was less familiar with the area. Nely was very knowledgeable and pleasant as well. It was a tough hike up and down ravines in the mud, but we saw some really cool stuff (momma and baby Tapir, lots of birds, monkeys, and incredible primary and secondary growth rainforest). I think our guides actually got lost for a while, but it was still a cool adventure and we were glad we did it. If we were less fit or less flexible, this could have been a problem. However, it was overall a happy accident. The owner graciously refunded part of our fee since it didn't quite work out as planned.
I think I would use this company again despite the error because the owner, Kenneth, was very up front about everything that happened. We had a great adventure and saw lots of cool stuff. Regret not getting to go into the park a second day, but along the edge was a great hike too. Guides Nely and Grieven were excellent!

La nostra esperienza con Corcovado Info Center è stata straordinaria. Ad agosto 2025 abbiamo partecipato all’escursione in giornata alla stazione Sirena e rimarrà per sempre nei nostri ricordi. Avevamo avuto difficoltà a trovare disponibilità con altri operatori, ma grazie a Corcovado Info Center siamo riusciti ad avere i posti per accedere al parco.
L’escursione è stata incredibile. La nostra guida, Greivin Montero, è stata semplicemente magica: sembrava in totale sintonia con la natura e gli animali. Abbiamo visto tutte le specie di scimmie, un formichiere (cosa rara e speciale), pavoni, pappagalli, una numerosissima compagnia di coati, tucani e molto altro. Anche il pranzo alla stazione Sirena è stato ottimo. La chicca è stata trovare e vedere le megattere nel viaggio tra Drake e il Parco Nazionale con l'avvistamento di un piccolo con la madre!
Un grazie di cuore a Greivin e a tutto il team di Corcovado Info Center. La prossima volta torneremo sicuramente per vivere l’esperienza su più giorni!

Para mi, la mejor experiencia de todo el viaje por Costarica. Nuestro guía fue Donny al que debemos agradecer la atención con toda la familia. Fuimos un grupo de 7 con niñas pequeñas y se mantuvieron atentas a todo lo que nos explicaba sobre el bosque.
Espero poder repetir pronto!
