We have never been anywhere like this in all our years of traveling. From the minute you get off the boat til the minute you leave on the boat you are surrounded by the most lush jungle immaculately maintained, cared for by the kindest people who go above and beyond to make sure you are happy, and nourished by delicious healthy gourmet food. Every single staff person was friendly and helpful. Our luxury villa with ocean view was absolutely stunning. The guided tours were fun and informative. We will never forget being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the jungle and the ocean waves. There are not enough adjectives to describe how great a place this is. We didnβt want to leave. We hope you get to experience this heaven on earth.

My wife and I went to the resort for our 15 year anniversary and it was the perfect location to celebrate this moment. All of thestaff were incredible and went over and beyond to make our trip memorable. All of the facilities were very well taken care of and very clean being able to wake up in the morning and hear all of the animals made it a memorable trip this truly was a trip of a lifetime.

This is a truly exceptional place. If you value nature, delicious food, friendly people, excellent tours, and breathtaking views, I highly recommend booking now. We rented a two-bedroom, two-story villa for our group of four, including our two daughters (12 and 10 years old). We all loved it.We spent our days doing tons of fun stuff β going on tours (all the tours are excellent and the river boat tour was our favorite because we are bird nerds), playing volleyball on the beach, chilling by the pool, or strolling around the beautiful grounds and trails. My husband and I loved going birdwatching β we did it from pretty much everywhere on the property! The girls spent time swimming in the pool while we lounged and enjoyed pool service. My camera was frequently in my hands, as there's always something to capture. The monkeys would swing by and say hello while on our way to the restaurant. It was the best vacation we've ever had, and it will be difficult to top, especially as we continue to travel.Shout out to Daniel and the entire crew that make your stay absolutely the best. **While I wouldn't bring young children here (My preference), our girls were the perfect age. There were other children of a similar age, and they would play together before dinner, as they have a good selection of games including giant UNO.

A piece of paradise
We spent 5 incredible days here. From the moment the boat pulled up to the shore, we felt like we were being welcomed by family. The location is perfection. Tucked away in the jungle just steps from a beautiful and quiet beach. The rooms are individual bungalows. We stayed in Palm#5. It was lovely with 2 bedrooms and a balcony on the upper floor with an ocean view. The monkeys would pass by our balcony often. The pool was fantastic and clean. There is a seashell on a rope that you pull if you need poolside service. The food was incredible. You have 3 options for each meal to choose from and every meal was amazing. We took several tours organized by the resort and they were all incredible. We did Cano island snorkeling, Corcovado and a Rio clairo river float. The staff were next level. I've never been so sad to leave a resort. We've been to Costa Rica twice and travelled to several areas of the country and Drake Bay remains our favorite. It's more of an effort to get here, but more than worth it. I hope we can return one day. I felt the value was great considering the level the service, the beauty of the resort and the quality of the food. We have travelled extensively and this is at the top of our favorites list.

A trip of a lifetime
Copa De Arbol was unknowingly a bucket list vacation destination. When we booked this trip I was expecting a typical tropical vacation, what I unexpectedly got was a carefully curated mind, body, and spirit retreat. Serene is how I would describe the entire experience. The Environment. Copa is remote and only accessible by boat or a long hiking trail. You will fly into a small airport then be transported by van to the boat. The property is situation where the jungle meets the sea. The buildings seamlessly blend into their jungle environment so that you always feel one with nature. The property is large with walking trails along the rocky beaches or deep into the jungle. The remoteness allows you to escape to an other worldly environment where both the literal and figurative noise of life fades away. You fall asleep every night to natureβs white noise, the waves crashing against the rocks and crickets, frogs, and birds. And each day there are always animals to see on the property like scarlet macaws, monkeys, sloths, and coatis. The Food. Every meal is served fine dining style and is carefully crafted to be nourishing, delicious, and aesthetic. Each meal features a vegetarian option, a fish option, and either beef or chicken option. Great attention is given to every detail for both the food and drinks. I have never eaten such delicious and healthy food on vacation. The fresh juice at every meal is the cherry on top. The Lodging. The villas are designed to blend into the nature around them. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with everything we needed. The beds, sheets, and pillows are comfortable. The towels are plush and super soft. The AC works great to escape the jungle humidity and heat. No detail is spared in the room as they are decorated with real flowers from the jungle. The Excursions. These are not like typical tropical vacation excursions where you are herded like cattle in a chaotic environment. Like everything else at Copa, the excursions are carefully curated to carry on the same intimate and peaceful experience you receive at the resort. The guides are so knowledgeable and kind, and the groups are either semi private (8 people) or completely private. They are organized in such a way that there is never any hassle and anything you could possibly think of is already taken care of for you. Do not skip out on these! The Staff. One thing that sets this experience apart is how the staff makes you feel like family. They quickly learn everyoneβs names and what you like and donβt like. They all seem genuinely interested in making you feel welcome and cared for. You can tell they love their country and the environment around them and love to share this love with others. This is easily the most luxurious and curated vacation I have ever been on. We are not people that visit the same place twice and we are already making plans to return, itβs just that special.

We have been to Copa twice and are already planning another trip later this year. Copa is truly one of a kind. This is a rare and intimate resort that is not just near the jungle -- it is truly in the jungle, tucked between the rainforest and the Pacific. There are no cars, no roads, and no outside noise. You arrive by boat and immediately feel like you have left the ordinary world behind. The accommodations are private, beautiful, built with gorgeous wood, and wonderfully comfortable, with air conditioning and a perfect blend of luxury and nature. Copa is small, intimate, and peaceful, with only a handful of villas and a limited number of guests. You can fill your days with hikes, birdwatching, snorkeling, tours, massages, or simply doing absolutely nothing. And the FOOD: spectacular! Fresh, creative, and delicious. The staff were warm, gracious, congenial, and always helpful. Amazing.

Copa de Γrbol felt special long before I arrived. Summer and Meg helped plan my trip, and from the very beginning I felt supported, heard, and genuinely cared for as a solo female traveler. By the time I stepped off the boat and onto the beach, I already felt a sense of belonging. The resort is peaceful and intimate, with only a small number of guests. Everyone knows your name without needing room numbers or reminders. My private casita was a place of total calm with beauty, complete privacy, and a deck surrounded by jungle. Everything felt thoughtfully cared for, thanks in part to the hardworking maintenance team, whose behind-the-scenes attention kept the resort running seamlessly. The food was incredible. Every meal felt intentionally prepared with π and far beyond what I expected from an allβinclusive experience. Dining alone felt easy and comfortable because the restaurant staff made it so. Their warmth and kindness were constant. So much of the magic comes from the people. Daniel, Albert, Esteban, Mauricio, Henry, Brayan, and Lisseth, each left a mark through genuine care and connection. The boat captains, especially Christian, made every moment on the water unforgettable, and Jefferson, who handled airport transport, made arrival and departure feel safe and effortless. Copa De Arbol - A Perfect Honeymoon Getaway
We chose Copa De Arbol for the second half of our honeymoon in Costa Rica and we could not recommend it more. Truthfully, we wish had spent more time there - and so much of that is due to the people and the experience. The staff at Copa made everything easy! From the time we stepped off the boat for our beach landing we were greeted with a welcome drink and taken care of. We cannot say enough kind things about the staff (Daniel, Mau, Bryan, Henry, Lis, Anna, all of the guides and boat captains) as they truly made the entirety of our stay an experience weβll never forget. We wound up fitting a lot in a few days at Copa, and everything was smooth and seamless. We were able to visit Corcavado National Park, snorkel at CaΓ±o Island. Perhaps the most memorable events we had were the sunset cruise and private dinner - a huge shoutout to Mau for making those so special. The cabanas are perfect. Tucked away in the jungle, surrounded by wildlife, and yet only a short walk to the beach. The pool was also lovely, we just didnβt spend that much time there because we were on the move getting to experience so much. The food was incredible! You never miss a meal, and the staff takes such care to ensure that your specific orders are taken prior to the next meal. You walk into the restaurant and theyβre ready to go! Luxury, immersion with nature, and a familial experience all in one. Itβs hard to describe! And so all we can say is if youβre thinking about going - GO. We know weβll be back, and canβt wait.

A magical place!
Cope De Arbol Beach and Rainforest Resort is a magical place. It is beautifully situated close enough by boat to Cano Island where the snorkeling is amazing and Corcovado national park. The service and food was incredible. The rooms are large and very clean with special additions like drying racks, bath robes and a welcome chocolate. The pool was also a fun place to spend afternoons. Lizards, coati and monkeys also were spotted by the pool.
