ConnectPrep helped me raise my SAT score to a 1580! Bethany showed me how to deconstruct each section of the test and taught me how to find the evidence behind every answer. I also worked with them for APUSH, AP Lang, AP Chemistry, and AP Calculus BC. Their resource guides go far beyond anything I have received from school and really made a difference in how I prepared. I am now working on the college advising process with Linda, who has been guiding me through every step. We have a clear workflow that keeps everything organized, and I already feel great about the Common App essay and supplementals we are working on. Many of our emails went unanswered, and when a personal issue came up for our advisor, instead of offering support or finding someone else to step in, our advisor abandoned us. This lack of communication and accountability caused my son to lose trust in the process during such a critical time. We had no choice but to change providers. There was absolutely zero understanding by ConnectPrep of the impact on us not to mention time and money lost.

I started working with Jeremy Fine at the beginning of my junior year of high school in September of 2022. Jeremy was an excellent mentor and helped me curate my college application and resume over the two years that I worked with him. His immense knowledge of the college application process was exceedingly helpful when trying to navigate the long and grueling application process. Jeremy pushed me to achieve a 1550 on my SAT, a score I previously did not think was possible for me; he knew I could do it even if I did not. When it came to writing essays for college applications (the hardest part of the process in my opinion), Jeremy's writing workshops were exceedingly helpful. In total, I applied to 25 schools (almost all were T20) and was accepted to 18 of them, waitlisted at 4, and only rejected from 3. I will be attending Harvard University this fall and could not be happier.
