Went to the pub for a meal 10/02/26 and wasn’t sure what to expect. WOW what an amazing experience, fire lit, music in the background, great staff and relaxing atmosphere. In relation to the food, I ordered the veggie burger and this was just fantastic. Warm and tasty and full of flavour. Well done, will definitely pay them a visit in the not too distant future. 👍🍺 too ❤️

Great choices on the menu. Our meals - 2 Methley Burgers, Piri Piri Burger & Giant Yorkshire with sausage and mash - were all cooked to order and delicious. A warm, friendly welcome from the hosts, Mark and Emma. Would highly recommend!

We called for a quick drink and ended up having a meal after a short time due to the delicious aroma emulating making our taste buds come alive.
I had the famous Commercial burger topped off with double fried eggs which was unbelievable.
My wife chose scampi which again looked fantastic and apparently was.
My wife’s words 😁
All in all great atmosphere and a warm welcome along with lovely pub food at top quality.
Would I return erm
We’ll definitely but only for an hour for those that know

The Commercial is a great local village pub situated in the centre of Methley. With an excellent selection of well kept cask ales and a good selection of decent lager, cider and stout. The meals all home Cooked food by Emma is really good and can't be faulted and on top
Of all that and the friendly service from Mark, Emma and their staff is second to none. In my opinion The Commercial can't be too highly recommended

Couldn't want more from a local pub. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere, incredible home cooked food and a great quiz! Cosy fire in winter and a beer garden with events on during Summer. Salt and pepper chicken and Emma's legendary pie both 11/10 😁

A fantastic, traditional village pub. Warm and friendly welcome every time.
Held a number of parties over the years with the most recent being catered by the pub. The food and service were superb and everyone had a great night.
Always a wide selection of guest beers on draft alongside a selection of lager/cider and the best pit of Guinness you’ll find in the area.

The Commercial is a wonderful local pub situated in the centre of Methley. Always an excellent selection of extremely well kept cask ales, along with a further selection of decent lager, cider and stout. The food offering is good honest delicious hearty grub that can't be faulted and the friendly service from Mark, Emma and their team is second to none. The Commercial can't be too highly recommended.
