Cynthia takes such great care of my cats while I have been on my trips. I have used this company and Cynthia specifically three times now (and soon to be a fourth) because I know my senior boys are in good hands. The Comforted Kitty is the best. Our sitter Marlene is so gentle and thoughtful. We have a very timid street cat who is scared of everything. Marlene is so gentle and she understands what our kitty needs. We don't have to worry about our kitty because Marlene sends regular updates. She is very thorough and carefully considers ways to comfort our kitty. Marlene is a true gem!

He showed up every day as scheduled without fail for the two weeks we had booked with him and was very respectful of our home. We met with Victor prior to the booking and he was very detailed oriented, taking careful notes and asking good questions which made us feel confident leaving our two very high maintenance cats in his capable hands. I like that TCK specializes in cat sitting only and they offer a wide variety of booking options from short visits to overnight stays. The intake forms are extremely thorough and lengthy which I actually appreciated so the sitter had all the feeding details and habits for our two cats. I also really like the fact that their sitters are vetted, insured by the company, and experienced at administering medication as we have an asthmatic cat. They are a little expensive but the comfort of knowing you’re getting a reliable service and a reliable sitter is well worth it.

We used this service while we were out of town for our wedding. All our friends/family were coming with us, so we had to hire someone new for the first time. We were matched with Kat who couldn't have been more perfect for our cats. She is kind, intelligent, and understands cats very well. She came over twice before we left to get acquainted with the cats, so they really felt comfortable with her by the time we needed to go. Kat helped with one of our cats medicine, twice a day. It's super comforting knowing our cats were in good hands the entire time we were gone. She provided detailed updates with pictures every day she came, which put us at ease during an otherwise hectic weekend. We will certainly use this service again the next time we leave town.

My cats and I had a wonderful experience with Comforted Kitty. Our sitter made friends with my cats on her first visit. That's right, they visit first to meet your animals and find out how to care for them. You also enter all the information in an app, so you know they have all the details to complete your requests.
Our sitter did a fantastic job! Everything was done as specified. Each day of my trip, I received a full report on their daily habits and several pictures to put my mind at ease. It was worth paying a little more than you would for a neighborhood teen. Highly recommend!

Reached out for special request with a cat that can be fearful around new people but is generally fine once she gets used to the new person. When I emailed they were initially polite saying they don't have sitters available for my request but they would let me know. I emailed back to clarify my dates are flexible do you have anyone for the month of June. And they simply replied no none of our sitters in your area are willing to care for an aggressive cat, very rude and dismissive and unhelpful. Bad vibe.
Update: Misunderstanding in the email I still would have appreciated more straightforward communication on their end but I'm sure they are a solid company. If you have a special needs cat that is fearful reactive they will likely not work with you.

Hello Zander, thanks for reaching out. Sorry it appeared we were not being direct but many times we don’t know why our sitters don’t want to take a request and we always keep it voluntary so that it is a better match for our clients and the sitter isn’t accepting a job they are uncomfortable with. When we initially checked no sitter had an interest in accepting the job, and since you followed up and asked, we provided additional information, mainly surmising that likely no sitter wanted to accept the job because you said your cat has bitten and scratched people before. Many of our sitters (myself included) have had the familiar experience of accepting a cat sitting request only to find out the hard way that the cat is much more aggressive than originally described to us only for us to end up injured out of it. So I can’t blame our sitters for not wanting to accept a particular job like this (although we do have sitters who will occasionally help out more challenging cases). In any case, I wish you the best of luck in finding a suitable sitter for your cat as every cat deserves to be comforted and not stressed out when their owner is away and we never blame a cat for their behavior. Lori is EXCEPTIONAL! She is a true blessing to us. We have used her multiple times and will continue to do so. We have a diabetic kitty that requires insulin 2 times a day and 2 skittish babies. She was there on time every time with updates and photos which make us being away a bit easier. She plays with them and brushes them. You can tell she truly cares for them and it is more than a job for her. I cannot express how grateful we are to have found her. Words can never express our true appreciation.

We had not hired a cat sitter in a very long time, so naturally we were a bit anxious about leaving our cat while traveling. From the very beginning, though, we felt completely at ease with her and trusted our instincts, and we’re so glad we did.
She was wonderful with our cat and took great care of him while we were away.
