We recently spent 3 memorable nights at this inn. It is walkable to the quaint downtown with a cat cafe, post office, various shops, and LI railroad as well as a short drive to several parks, the Fire Island ferry, restaurants, and more. Hosts Mark and Ari have thought of everything to make the premises visitor friendly: their relaxing speakeasy where pianist Mark entertains guests, hot tub and pool in the well manicured back yard, ample continental breakfasts with hot entree options. We have been completed spoiled by the morning array of Ari's home made breads, popovers and more. Try the homemade jams and applesauce!

It was an amazing stay, Marc and Ari are the nicest people. Very clean, elegant and loving environment. We are happy to come back and we’re very sad that our stay was so short. The breakfast was incredible. Fresh fruits, homemade bread and a lot of other freshly self made backed goods. One of the best Inns we have ever experienced.

Enjoyed the stay! The hosts were very nice and accommodating, and the food was delicious. This is a great place to stay on Long Island along the south shore, with easy access to the Long Island Rail Road for commuting to NYC.

We recently stayed during a family trip back to my husband's hometown of Sayville. We needed to extend our trip due to the loss of my mother-in-law. The accommodations are peaceful, serene, clean and well decorated. Ari and Mark were fantastic hosts. They cooked delicious food for us for breakfast and were there for a chat, a hug, a laugh, or to give us our space when we needed it. Although we didn't use the pool or hot tub, the back yard would be a great place to unwind. The location to walk to downtown Sayville was ideal. We would absolutely stay there again.

A four minute walk from the Sayville Train station, Come As You Are Inn is a total find. It's beautiful, with hot tub and pool and the bed in the Ethel Merman Room is insanely comfortable.The hosts are terrific - they fresh bake all kinds of breads and bagels for breakfast. The first night I was there, we had a sing along to live piano, and I had just enough white russians to not be too much. No drawbacks at all as far as I'm concerned. I'll be back

My wife and I were looking for a quick escape from the city (and our three young kids), and we were so lucky to find the Come As You Are Inn! It’s an easy trip from Brooklyn, but once we arrived, it felt like we’d landed in an entirely different world. The rooms were nearly as charming as our hosts, and the amenities were truly luxurious. Relaxing jazz plays over the hi-fi surround system, giving the whole place the vibe of a hidden speakeasy. We had the beautiful pool, jacuzzi, and firepit all to ourselves. We enjoyed a light picnic by the pool, explored a nearby park, and watched the sunset over an ocean-view dinner—then ended the night with a cozy nightcap by the fire. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. Huge thanks to Ari and Mark—gracious, thoughtful, and truly wonderful hosts. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We were on our honeymoon in the greater New York area and spent 2 lovely days at this place run by two extraordinary hosts, Ari & Mark. For us the location was fantastic: just 5 min walk from the train station and downtown Sayville with bars & restaurants. What stands out at this place is clearly the exceptional hospitality of Ari & Mark. They surprised us with local wine paired with strawberry chocolate and a personal postcard wishing their best for our marriage. They were very kind to drive us to the Sayville Ferry Station so that we can conveniently get to Fire Island Pine. Additionally, they kindly offered us late check-out and the opportunity to leave our luggage at their home on our last day in the area before flying back to Europe. We highly appreciated the great chats over the breakfast table (where they serve delicious homemade specialties) and at night while Mark was playing the piano for us. I had one of the best stays in years. The Bed & Breakfast offers more than the comforts of a hotel or airBnB, but the warmth of home. The cute and comfy rooms are beautiful and classic. The food was great and worth more than what maybe provided locally. Home baked breads, bagels and desserts are a must try. If you have the time and want to unwind and enjoy a stay or get away. Come as you are is the 1st place to go. Thanks Guys!

I stayed for two nights and my experience was exceptional. Ari and Mark are very communicative prior to your arrival so that they can welcome you in person and show you the common areas and you room amenities. They are happy to chat with you if you like or show you up to your room if you're tired after a long day of travel. A delicious breakfast is served every morning (they accommodate various dietary needs) and Mark is an excellent pianist if you fancy some live entertainment in the evening. I 100% plan to stay here again. It's so nice to encounter a small business run by two people who care so much about guests' experience. Please give Come As You Are a try!
