Been looking for a carburettor restoration company to sort out a Harley Davidson 1990-92 Sportster carb on the 4 speed Evo engine, so I took another bikers advise and came to Coln Engineering and I can honestly say that I'm very very happy with the professional attitude and knowledge that these guys have , first class job and at a very reasonable price , these guys know carburettors inside out.

After being messed around for weeks by a well known midland carburetor company, only to be told after two months they couldn't do what they had quoted for, Coln drilled mine within hours. Their engineering ability and knowledge is excellent. I can't recommend them enough.

I had the carbs from my Honda XLV750 refurbished by Coln Engineering and they did a fantastic job. Great service and a fair price. Not the easiest of places to find but worth persevering!

Great service. Considering I live in the Outer Hebrides the shipping and return was painless. Two solex 44PAI marine carbs cleaned, fixed, set up and tested. They look fantastic with a great ceramic coating to finish. Great communication - kept me informed all through the process. Highly recommended.

Coln Engineering provided an amazing service, The carbs were in a poor condition when I delivered them to the workshop, Ian explained the process in detail and gave me confidence the work would be done in line with my expectation. The finished job is excellent the carbs are working perfectly and were set up really well with only minor idle adjustment needed allowing the bike to start and run without any problems.

From my initial contact, right through to receiving my carburettors after their Ultrasonic cleaning, I was reassured by the positive, professional and polite communications. All questions answered promptly, and instant reassurance was provided over the phone confirming they had received my carbs, despite the Post Office’ use of an incorrect postcode.
