Our hosts, Sue and Simon, go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. We were greeted with a refrigerator containing local food (cheeses, eggs, meats, creams and more) fresh loaf of bread, wonderful bottle of wine and fresh flowers. Who could ask for a more lovely beginning.
What an absolutely charming, perfect holiday rental! We arrived after a long drive to find an immaculate property with an incredible view of St. Michael's Mount. The owners had left us a fantastic array of provisions, a bottle of wine and a lovely welcome note. Such an amazing welcome-pack of delectable food! It was great to have the makings of breakfast so we didn't have to rush off to the shops upon arrival. The bed was very comfortable, and I loved the tea/coffee station by the bedroom window. Loads of closet space and drawers and hangers for unpacking! We ate breakfast every day in the sweet little dining room facing the sea. The lounge was very cozy with a big TV perfect for watching movies, and of course there was always the gorgeous view out the large picture window. The shower was strong and hot, and I appreciated having a washing machine. The kitchen was so well-equipped! But beyond all the fabulous amenities, we were so impressed with the helpfulness and kindness of the hosts, who gave us lots of suggestions on things to do and places to eat The outdoor patio area overlooking the water was amazing, with very comfy lounge chairs. Seawatch is close to all amenities, and just steps from the beach. Garage to park our rental car in which was very handy. My only "complaint" is that I would happily have spent another week there, but sadly we had to fly home. We've stayed at many places around the world but this is one of our very favs!
The property was well located, very short walk from the beach & all local amenities.It was very well presented inside with a small enclosed garden which was ideal for our dog..The property mangers were very helpful & were happy to answer any questions & give advice on places to go & visit.. We will be staying again..
Our stay was amazing. Our host made contact early, checked in with us for arrival and needs, supplied an amazing welcome basket…the warm scones - what a treat! There were many little considerations, to make our stay more pleasurable, as well as a clearly outlined ‘Welcome Book’ giving a huge amount of information. This apartment is well placed for local activities, some retail therapy and pubs with good service and meals. Larger retail shops, including Tesco, are just a couple of miles away.Onsite parking was perfect for mid size SUVs and smaller vehicles.We would definitely revisit if travelling this way again, you will NOT be disappointed!
Fabulous.Everything it said on the tin .We will definitely be returning. The communication with hosts was brilliant. And we loved just chilling in the cosy property with fabulous views.A lovely welcome pack & a surprise bottle of champagne arrive on our 30th wedding anniversary
A real gem of a place. The views are truly unrivaled. Myself and my husband recently got married and this was the place we chose to stay after the wedding and we were so pleased we did. The hosts were so accommodating and generous. Would love to revisit one day! Thank you Sue and Simon for making our stay so special.
Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in Sea Watch!. Uns erwartete eine blitzsaubere, sehr komfortable Wohnung mit bequemen Betten, einer voll umfänglichen Küchenausstattung, großem TV und einer traumhaften Dachterrasse direkt am Meer und mit Blick auf St. Mount Michaels. Die Gastgeber stellten uns hochwertige Produkte wie Prosecco, Cornish Cream Tea, Schinken, Käse u.v.m. als Willkommenspaket hin. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und entspricht in allem dem Internetauftritt.
Unforgettable stay
We had a wonderful holiday in a beautiful cottage.The apartment is fully equipped and leaves nothing to be desired.Even the fridge was stocked according to our preferences, which had been asked in advance.Simon and Sue fulfilled even our smallest wishes – such warm and thoughtful hosts!We would love to come back. Everything was perfect – highly recommended!
Location was perfect view amazingSue was lovely very helpful, good communication, left really helpful supplies and goodies for our arrival. The property was spotless everything we needed for our stay although some things could be improved outside area was very tired ( garden furniture and dead plants, parasol etc) The property is on two levels but wasn’t stated on booking details, bedroom upstairs and bathroom downstairs, not an issue for able body people but I really struggled as mobility poor and that is the only negitive. But loved our holiday.
Das allerbeste ist die Lage!! Wir haben es bei Bilderbuchwetter eine Woche lang genossen, draußen auf der Terrasse zu sitzen/ zu essen und immer den Blick auf den Atlantik zu haben. Als das Wetter etwas nachließ, hatten wir denselben Blick vom Wohnraum aus . Die Umgebung ist traumhaft schön, bestens geeignet für Wanderungen bei Ebbe am Strand oder über den Küstenwanderweg. Viele Ausflugsziele sind gut zu erreichen mit dem Auto. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
It wasn't the first time and it won't be the last
We stayed at Sea Watch for the second time and enjoyed the gorgeous location. Everything is spotlessly clean and well thought of, we really felt home away from home. We love this place - and will come back.
Fabulous little flat
Everything about our stay was wonderful. The flat was as advertised. You could sit in the back and see the ocean. Cute town. Lovely place for breakfast. Sue, the owner was fantastic. Would definitely stay again.
Comfortable with amazing view
We stayed 5 nights at Sea Watch and were very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The wonderful view of St. Michael’s Mount and having a car park were definitely a major bonus. Would stay again and also recommend to others.
