Stunning From the moment we stepped into Sea Watch, we knew we had made the right decision. The property was beautiful with a stunning View. We could not fault Sea Watch in any way, just wish the weather was nicer to see it at its full potential but this didn’t spoil our holiday at all. Communication with the owner Sue was exceptional from booking to us arriving back at home. Would definitely recommend and hope to return ourselves in the near future. Thanks again.

WoW! Spectacular Views & Spectacular Sea Watch Holiday Cottage. WoW what a spectacular view to St. Michael’s Mount from Sea Watch, Sue and Simon have thought of everything you could wish for for a perfect holiday………and more. From the delicious meal prepared for us on our arrival with the table set with fresh flowers and a view over the mount. The beautiful, quality bed linen and super comfy king size 4-poster bed. A lovely bathroom with a powerful shower and a huge T.V. In the lounge with Sky movies. A garage for parking was a huge bonus in Marazion. We brought our Cavapoo puppy Clover and she loved it just as much as we did spending relaxing days on the south facing patio with the sounds of the waves crashing below or running around on the dog friendly beach. Sue and Simon are friendly, kind and generous and really do go above and beyond for their guests. We’ve found our perfect place in Cornwall, thank you Sue and Simon we’ll see you next year……Clover can’t wait x

A fanatastic stay We had a fantastic stay at Sea Watch, everything was perfect made even better by the view. Sue provided us with an arrival meal which was wonderful and we ate in the dining room overlooking St Micheal's Mount. We even were given a little travel home bag of pasties, cornish tea, cornish shortbread and a keyring. The Appartment was perfectly situated in the centre of Marizion with shops, eating establishments and a chippy very close by. Having a garage to park in a place like Marizion is very helpful. Thank you Sue and Simon for a fantastic week.

Serenity across the bay I had the most amazing time in Cockleshell Cottage. Sue greeted me and gave me the rundown and there was a delicous three course meal waiting for me. It was the perfect welcome after a long drive. The Cottage has the most stunning view of St Michael's Mount and has everything you could ask for inside. The views are from both levels and you can lie in your Four poster bed and look out at the activity in the bay. Shops are a minute's walk and access to the beach and roads are easy to navigate. It was the most special week I think I've ever had anywhere. It was better than I imagined and I had huge expectations. I hope to be back one day but if not there will always be a piece of my heart at Cockleshell Cottage.

What a find! The owners had thought of everything to make our stay at Cockleshell Cottage as cosy and comfortable as could be. There was a delicious meal prepared for us on arrival, which made us feel so welcome. The cottage was warm, very clean, with a modern bath/shower room, a comfortable bed and superbly equipped. The view is truly mesmerising - We loved watching the tide come and go over the causeway to St Michaels Mount. A few minutes walk takes you onto the beach and all the wonderful places to visit in West Cornwall are an easy drive away. For us? Perfection. Already booked for next year, which says it all. Thank you Sue & Simon for our wonderful stay.

Hidden gem Cockleshell Cottage is an absolute gem. The owners have thought of everything and more! The views are first class and local amenities have as much or as little as you’d like! Highly recommend for those who love some affordable luxury by the sea.

Our happy place This was our first visit to Cockleshell Cottage and it did not disappoint. The view is amazing and we love the ever changing scenery as well as watching the causeway walkers and waders and the boats going back and forwards to the island. The quirky upside down property has everything that you could wish for, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, wine fridge and microwave. The four poster was both comfortable and cosy, a jacuzzi bath and rainfall shower were in the large bathroom. The little extras like dressing gowns and slippers made it feel like home from home. The arrival goodies left by the owners were a lovely surprise and enjoyed by us both. Marazion is our happy place and I am sure we will be back visiting again next year.

Perfect view Gorgeous view, lovely accommodation, well equipped. The neighbours made us feel welcome. Sue provided an evening meal the day we arrived which was delicious. Nice small touches everywhere. Accessible for all of west Cornwall and the Lizard peninsula. We loved everything about it.

Fantastic Seaside Cottage From start to finish we relaxed and enjoyed the views,comfort and coziness of the cottage with garden for our puppy to Max to safely run around. On arrival there was a meal prepared by our host and the wine was also appreciated. A lovely , relaxed location - Blue Bar recommended. Also a great central spot for lots of great beaches , towns like Padstow or beaches like Holywell Bay. St Agnes next town along is beautiful n quirky. Booked for next year already

Wonderful cottage with fantastic hosts Just returned after spending a week in this magical cottage . Sue and Simon , the owners, really have put so much thought into ensuring every detail is perfect and high quality to ensure that like us , you will relax immediately you arrive - they even provide a delicious home cooked dinner on arrival plus Cornish cream tea and wine . The views are simply magical every morning we woke we smiled seeing it and have re booked for next two years . Sue kept in touch throughout our trip giving great recommendations where to go during day n night - really above and beyond. Sue was particularly kind to our puppy Max with treats and he too loved the holiday and can’t wait to return and gaze across at st michaels mount!

Cockleshell Cottage is unbeatable Cockleshell Cottage is ideally located on the water’s edge, with excellent views of the Mount across the water from either the balcony or the lounge. The Cottage has everything in it that you could wish for to make your holiday memorable. Sue is the perfect hostess, giving helpful information about restaurants and Taxi companies. Sue even gave us a goodie bag to send us on our way. We had such a good time we have booked for 2023 and 2024. Cockleshell Cottage really is the Crème de la Crème Stanley

Cockleshell Porthtowan Excellent hospitality made us feel right at home, the apartment was spotless and had all amenities. The location was perfect with just a short walk to the beach.

Superb We have just returned from a wonderful stay in Porthtowan. This was the first time that we have used Cockleshell Holidays, but we are already planning a return trip next year. The booking process was easy and we felt well informed from start to finish. The accommodation was superb, especially considering it was dog-friendly - extremely comfortable, finished to a very high standard and it had everything you could ever need and more. When we arrived we were greeted with a range of little extras including a 2-course ‘first night’ meal that had been freshly prepared, wine, fresh flowers, cake, bread, milk and Cornish butter and biscuits - a lovely touch. Thank you to Sue and Simon for a wonderful break away. We are already looking forward to our next stay at your lovely cottage with those amazing views.

Most magical view in Cornwall with the best hospitality Shh don't tell anyone, we think we found the best place to stay in the whole of Cornwall. Uninterrupted ocean views through huge floor to ceiling windows, privacy to unwind, relax and recuperate, spotlessly clean, well equipped and very spacious for two and our four legged friend. A lovely bathroom with a great shower and spa bath with super fluffy towels, a super comfy bed with hotel quality sheets and pillows. As others have written a meal is waiting for you in the fridge to pop in the oven after a long journey, which was especially welcome and unheard of with self catering. It was great to be able to unload at the end of the lane a very short walk from the property and to be able to park nearby. Thank you Sue for being an amazingly kind, generous and thoughtful host. We loved our travel pasties for our journey home, so lovely of you. We can't wait to return.

Enchanting cottage with superb views We enjoyed our stay at Cockleshell Cottage. It is such a delightful place and Sue the owner was a delight. We could not have asked for more. No one could not appreciate a holiday spent in such an idyllic place.

Perfect ! What a wonderful cottage ! Spectacular view, amazing cottage with everything you can think of to feel like home at once. Very nice owners, a delicious home made meal and other great goodies with a lovely card are waiting for you when you arrive and make you feel very welcome . The floor heating in the beautiful bathroom is brilliant, the bed very comfortable and the livingroom just outstanding..... I really loved and enjoyed my first stay at Cockleshell and can` t wait to be back next year. :) Thank you very much for all the kindness and the nice contact.

Simply amazing Cockleshell cottage, right on the sea front opposite St Michael's Mount is just amazing. Such a peaceful relaxing place to stay with beautiful views. All the mod cons you could ever need, full kitchen, bathroom and Sky TV package for the evenings also a parking space. I think our pooch (Alfie) didn't want to leave. Only thing you have to have a good sensible dog due to cliff the cottage is on. Sue provided a beautiful meal for the first evening with some added treats and tipple which so nice and such a lovely touch. We would 100% recommend this place and would go back again.

Spring holiday Spent a week for the first time in Cornwall in March. We normally visit in the summer, but had an amazing time in the spring. Luckily we had nice weather, Porthtowan was a fantastic place to visit with 2 great pubs, cafe, ice cream parlour, gift shop and shop. The beach was amazing, great for body boarding and our accommodation was fantastic. Our hosts made us feel so welcome, with a lovely home cooked meal on arrival with wine and beer. There was everything you could need at the apartment, it was homely, well equipped, with great views of the sea! Thank you to our hosts, those little touches made the holiday feel special Mike and Jo x

Gem of a cottage with fabulous views Cockleshell is a wonderful little cottage with (I think) one of the best views in England — right opposite St Michael's Mount. It is extremely well-equipped and everything is of very good quality. The property seems to me to be extremely well-managed, with the owners and house-keeper being very thoughtful. The complementary meal on the first night was a lovely touch, and the extensive welcome package was better than any I'd had elsewhere. The cottage is well-maintained and, apart from a couple of minor issues, it is immaculate. The bathroom is particularly good. Being dog-friendly was also a huge bonus. I would recommend this property unreservedly and very much hope to visit again myself.
