Called them for an Emergency appointment. I have a hydronic boiler with baseboard heaters. They came early, didnt try to sell me on a new system, and were well within my guesstimate of cost. I will be switching all my HVAC needs to Cochran Heating and Cooling. I was very happy with their service.

Once my unit was installed, Tyler was not there to help me with any issues I had. He either didn’t show up or didn’t return my message. I’ve had to bring in other professionals to help with my brand new unit.
I am sorry for your experience. You text messaged me from a blocked number saying "something is wrong". I am 1 person running a small business, I am very busy during this time of year as you can probably imagine. I tried multiple times to schedule a service call with you, but none of my available times were good enough for you and your late work schedule. I run 24/7, I charge an after hours fee to come out any time of the night. You did not want to pay the after hours fee. Did you call the other company to schedule an appointment? Because if you would have called us on the phone, we could have made an appointment. After installing your equipment over 3 years ago, that equipment has never been serviced since that install date. I would be more than happy to stand behind my work and honor any warranty repairs you may need but the communication was not good. Recently had Cochran Heating and Cooling in Jeannette, PA install central air conditioner unit in my home. Buck and his crew did a fantastic job and exceeded my expectations plus went the extra mile to replace a corroded fixture on my water heater. Cochran Heating is our first choice for all area HVAC claims. Contractor goes above and beyond to properly communicate and document his findings and always provides all options for repair and replacement.
Our AC started making a funny noise. Was still working just making a noise. I called the warranty company sent them out. Small fix just needed a screw. Well since they came out my ac unit hasn't worked since. It's funny he kept telling my husband we needed a whole new unit lol. It worked great until they came and touched it. All of the sudden is has all these problems and won't even work lol. Never again!!!!
I apologize for the confusion. Upon arrival, I found the unit was plugged solid with dirt from years of not being serviced. Once I cleaned the condenser coil, I then found the unit was low on R-22 freon, refrigerant. After speaking with your husband, because you were not there, and giving options for repairing the unit; 1- to recharge the unit with the old style refrigerant, 2- perform a leak search to locate the leak, or 3- give an estimate for replacement due to the age and condition , a 1991 and not been maintained. I then let the warranty company know your situation. There was not a screw that needed installed, the noises are coming from a compressor running without oil due to the refrigerant leak. The condenser fan motor is also leaking oil and making noise as well. This is all due to the unit not being properly maintained and being 32 years old. The national average lifespan for an air conditioner is 12-15 years, this unit has had a long life. I would never sell someone something they don't need, nor did I tell you that you needed a new unit. I am here because you needed service immediately due to someone In the home with a "medical condition". I rescheduled calls in order to get to you sooner, only to find out I was duped and there was no medical emergency. I'm sorry you are in a tough spot with your HVAC system. I am only here to help and would appreciate if you would rethink your 1 star review, as I pride myself and my small business in honorable and honest work.
