The Chocolate ice cream is amazing, it’s full of favour with salty peanut. And the staff is friendly. ❤️🔥
Probably the best ice cream you will ever taste - properly creamy and a step above the gelato you usually get these days. Chocolates are anazing too. Stunning
Really fast delivery, pretzel licorice is to die for, chocolate is great, hard to fault anything frankly
This was by far the best icecream I’ve ever had! There were just 4 tastes but each one was an absolut banger!
Apart from that mad icecream the shop is beautifull, the smell is amazing and the owners were very wellcoming, friendly and helpfull.
Just bought a vegan ice cream it was a lovely coconut flavour.
They make nearly everything except the liquorice sweets.
Took part in a family chocolate truffle workshop, so good great fun very informative and James is very friendly lovely guy, brought a few chockies to take away as well ad my own creations.

Incredible chocolates
We were given a gift box for Easter and the chocolates within were the nicest I have ever tasted. We visited the shop in Hastings and were again blown away by the quality of the chocs, just outstanding. The cola cup was my favourite. Not cheap, but worth it!
Rarely do you walk into a shop that smell divine and are greeted and served by a knowledgable and attentive person. We were talked through all the chocolates and asked our choices. Since then we have had two postal orders of our favourites and they are as delicious as the first taste.

Thank you for your lovely review Simon. Yes a lot of our customers comment on the lovely smell as they enter our shop. Sadly when you're here all of the time, you don't notice it!
This was the best ice cream that we've ever eaten! The coffee was also amazing. The iced latte was made with handmade iced coffee cubes. The staff are very nice and friendly too. Highly recommended, one of the best coffee shops we've ever been to!

Brilliant review Alex, thanks! Our handmade Chocolate Brownie ice cream is very, very popular.
Excited to try a local specialist chocolate maker but sadly fell way short in my view. Ofcourse taste is subjective but the chocolate isnt good enough. It lacks flavour and distinctiveness. Well made with a a great snap but thats about it. Save your money for Rye Chocolate just around the corner which I would consider a far more luxury chocolate worth the premium.
Delicious chocolates that are made with love. Great choice of Scandinavian liquorice sweets which make an adventurous treat for liquorice lovers. A cosy little place to chill with coffee and cake. James, the owner, is welcoming and his business comes from the heart. Hence the delicious 😋 sweets and chocolates. Will definitely revisit. If you haven't already tried this place you are missing out.

Thanks so much Deb for such a wonderful review, I'm almost blushing! I'm so pleased that you enjoyed some of our Scandinavian liquorice as well as our chocolates. We have one or two limited edition flavours in the fridge each month, so when you visit next, perhaps you can try something new.

Thank you Dylan for your lovely review of our staff and chocolates!
James of Coastal Cocoa in Hastings is nothing short of a chocolate alchemist. What began as a passion has clearly blossomed into a craft of the highest order – and you can taste that love and dedication in every single bite.
His artisan chocolates are utterly divine: silky, indulgent, and bursting with imaginative flavours that are perfectly balanced. Each piece is a tiny masterpiece.
Hastings is incredibly lucky to have such talent on its doorstep. If you appreciate truly exceptional chocolate, Coastal Cocoa is an absolute must-visit. Prepare to be enchanted..

Wow Paul, thank you, that is a really wonderful review of our chocolates. A 'chocolate alchemist' - I must repeat this to my wife!
Beautiful appearance, superb flavours, chose my own (so none that were not favourites) - locally made and delivered by hand. Do I recommend them - of course I do!!
