I spent two nights and two days at Cloud Zen in Margate for an Zumba Retreat in October 2025 and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The house itself is beautiful—calm, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail has been thought through to create a truly relaxing atmosphere. The staff could not have been more helpful—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, they made me feel completely at home. The food was exceptional, with thoughtful and delicious options, especially impressive for someone who is gluten intolerant. It’s rare to find a place that caters so deliciously well for coeliacs. I felt in safe hands - very rare. Cloud Zen is the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy a little coastal peace. I left feeling refreshed, nourished, and definitely will return.

Fabulous place , food was perfect for an all women group on a Zumba retreat . Studio was right there for all our needs . Claire and her team were so friendly . It was a really special experience .

Thank you Claire for a lovely stay and your hospitality on the weekend😊 Great location, a stone’s throw from the train station. The room was very quiet and the bed was super comfy. My train was delayed and didn’t get to use the hot tub. Maybe next time 😏 such a little treat 🛁🫧👙

Fab town house located a short walk into Margate. 16 of us stayed for a girly weekend away and we loved the lovely big lounge and dining area. A well equipped kitchen is in the basement. Bedrooms are contemporary and the bathrooms were clean and modern with good powerful showers. Owner Claire was great to deal with too! We loved it all. ❤️

Gorgeous space - Claire the host owner was so kind and welcoming , the rooms were very clean and comfortable - I wouldn't normally like shared bathrooms but they are very clean and lots of bathrooms enough for all . And Claire coming in everyday to clean and ensure it's all gorgeous . It's not breakfast advertised but she has bread for toast with jams , fruit , milk , cereals , teas and coffee for you to help yourself . Great place to stay for Margate I will definitely be back and will bring my swimming costume for the jacuzzi. There is also a very comfortable living room to sit in . If you do drive just be mindful of the parking rules for when you can and cannot park xx overall brilliant stay xx thank you .

Highly recommend staying at cloudzen, we loved that everyone took their shoes off at the door and respected the property. Our room was relaxing, clean and tidy. And the free standing bath was a dream. We will definitely stay again

Cloud zen is the most wonderful and relaxing place I have every stayed in, Tom is so wonderful and welcoming. The house is stunning and you just relax and feel at peace the moment you walk in. My brother and I had a great stay at CloudZen, very much home from home. Tom was super welcoming on our arrival and took the time to tell us about places to visit in the area. The rooms were spacious, clean and secure, and providing breakfast was a lovely touch. I would definitely stay again on a return trip to Margate.
