Team Siafu.- an out of world experience. Words cannot express enough the wonderful experience we had. Starting from the booking to the end Climbing Kilimanjaro team had our back. Brian was clear, concise & always in touch. We were picked up from the airport in time & although the airline lost our luggage, Vumi was reassuring & sorted out the pick up the next day. The lead tour guide Daniel was efficient, very organised & kept us apprised of the schedule at all times. The entire team of Climbing Kilimanjaro- the lead guides- Daniel, Sulemani, Chiku & Hejaji along with the team of 33 porters made the whole experience memorable & enjoyable.We were amazed by the professionalism & positivity of the team. They encouraged us throughout the entire trip. Every day was organised & seamless.The porters are super human & carry everything from duffels, sleeping bags to foldable chairs/tables, portable potty’s and encourage us with smiles and thumps ups.Daniel offered us an option for hot showers was a reasonable price which we were glad we did.The chefs Jim’s and Karim prepared amazing food three times a day along with snacks. Delicious indeed.Hats off to the two toilet engineers who sorted out the portable potty’s & daily hot showers. We couldn’t have coped without.Daniel & team supported & offered encouragement specially on the summit night which was a real challenge due to altitude sickness. We wouldn’t have made it if wasn’t for Danny’s and team support. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart in helping us realise the dream of getting to Kilimanjaro summit “UHURU peak”I will advise that you always follow the advice of the experienced guides & try to eat ( lost appetite due to altitude) and hydrate as advised.I would give the entire team 10 out of 10. 5 stars!! Thank you again for looking after us !

Best Company to Conquer the Mountain! My husband and I had an excellent experience trekking the Lemosho route with Team Ant led by head guide Daniel and guides Hijaji, Sulemani, and Shiku. Everything was very well prepared, communication was on point and clear every day, and we always felt our safety was a top priority. Even on the toughest days, the guides and porters had such positive energy, and there were no other groups on the mountain smiling or laughing as much as ours. The summit day was very challenging, but the guides had several contingency plans in place to ensure everyone made it to the top safely and at their own pace. Overall, very impressed with the level of care from the meals, the portable potty, equipment, and guides’ knowledge.

I hiked Mount Kilimanjaro in September 2025 via the 9-day Northern Circuit with a group of eight hikers, and we all successfully reached the summit. Overall, my experience with Climbing Kilimanjaro was excellent. The team consistently went above and beyond to support us. Our guides were knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly encouraging. Personally, I struggled with jet lag and lack of sleep during much of the trek. The nights were difficult for me. Even so, with the support of the guides and other crew members, I was able to make it to the Peak. Most of the equipment provided was very good. The only issue I experienced was with the tent zippers, which required quite a bit of force to operate. To their credit, the team acted quickly and changed my tent. One thing that surprised me was their suggestion to attempt the summit a day earlier than planned. I chose the Northern Circuit specifically for its longer acclimatization profile, so I did not feel comfortable shortening the route. Fortunately, the team respected the original schedule, and sticking to it worked very well, all eight of us reached the summit safely. Overall, I would highly recommend Climbing Kilimanjaro. Their dedication, support, and professionalism made this a remarkable and memorable experience.

CK Team Ice were fantastic CK Team Ice, led by Salim and Michael, provided indispensable guidance and assistance when we climbed Kilimanjaro by the Machame route, summiting October 14-15. From our first meeting, when Salim carefully reviewed our gear, to our last moments together, they instilled confidence and good humor in us and the entire team. It was a tough climb but an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend and thanks.

Amazing experience with fantastic company Amazing trip with CK to Mount Kilimanjaro. Took the 7 day Lemosho route and joined as a solo to a group of 9 (some solos, some groups). Communication leading up to the trip was excellent and allayed any nerves I might have had. There were no surprises, and I always felt prepared for what was coming both in the buildup to arrival and each day of the hike.Safety and comfort were my takeaways from the trip. With the daily briefings, health check ins and monitoring I felt very at ease that the CK team had my safety at heart. The food prepared on the mountain far exceeded expectations as well. Guides and porters were very friendly, professional and have significant experience and knowledge of the mountain to share.Couldn’t recommend this company enough. Climbing Kilimanjaro I really enjoyed the experience I had with Climbing Kilimanjaro, for the most part.The porters were incredible. Very quick and efficient as well as friendly. The assistant guides were also very informative, helpful, kind, and capable. The food was phenomenal. I've been on a few multi day treks and could hardly believe they could make the food that good. It was fairly easy and efficient dealing with their office before arriving to do the trek. They also provided airport transfer to/from the the airport, which was handy.They only get a 4/5, however, because I was not impressed with my head guide, Daniel. Before the trek started, he came to do an equipment check and made me rent a whole bunch of equipment that I did not want or need. Basically told me I had to or I couldn't go. I understand wanting to be prepared, but the amount of equipment he made me rent was insane. He also didn't like any of the gear that I had brought. Then, when it came time to drop this gear off to me, he was an hour and a half late, ruining plans I had had that afternoon. On the trek, he led us up Kilimanjaro on summit day. After all the hard work of getting to the summit, he made us come down almost immediately. I assumed it was a time issue because he did have to put more miles on getting to the next camp. However, once down, (at too fast a pace as well), we just sat and waited for three hours before taking off gain. So time wasn't an issue. I felt very robbed of a once in a lifetime experience. So, while I would recommend Climbing Kilimanjaro, I would only do so if Daniel is not your guide. If he is your guide, I strongly urge you to go with another company.

The Climbing Kilimanjaro team made it all easy and stress-free.Team Faru, led by Shadya and Rashid, was incredible. It’s rare to see a woman as a head guide on Kilimanjaro, and Shadya absolutely rocked it — strong, calm, and inspiring. We just followed her plan every step of the way, and our 7-day Lemosho route summit day went amazingly well because of her guidance and preparation.The food from Saleem was shockingly good (never thought I’d eat that well on a mountain!), and the porters were beyond belief — they do the hard work with smiles and unbelievable energy.What really stood out is how Climbing Kilimanjaro treats their porters and team with genuine respect and care — you can feel the camaraderie and pride in everything they do.If you want the best Kilimanjaro experience, this is the company!

Fantastic experience with CK Just returned from hiking Kilimanjaro with my daughter Charlotte. I am so glad we chose CK as they were fantastic from the off! The guides were professional, caring, and always focused on our safety. They tailored the experience to everyone’s needs and constantly reminded us that we were one team with one goal. Their positivity and encouragement kept us motivated and connected all the way to the summit.The food was incredible — always fresh, delicious, and more than enough. I have some lactose sensitivities in some situations, and the kitchen crew made special adjustments to my meals so I could eat comfortably the entire climb. They even surprised one of our teammates with a freshly baked birthday cake on the mountain! My mum and I climbed Kilimanjaro and had the most incredible experience. Our group was led by Jonas but all the guides were incredibly - especially Jackie and Chiku. The entire team were extremely accommodating, helpful and answered all of our questions when in doubt. The biggest shoutout goes to the porters, chefs and the entire team that work tirelessly behind the scenes. It’s an operation based on teamwork and I can’t think them enough for making the experience so enjoyable. Would 10/10 recommend Climbing Kilimanjaro!
