My 4 year old needed to have her ear cleaned because it was full of earwax. I was a bit concerned, since it can be difficult with a young child, but Lee was friendly, engaging with my kid, and solved the issue quickly!

Perfectly done I would really recommend, easy to book and fabulous service. Wow I spent 45mins in spec savers a couple of years ago with someone who clearly didn’t have a clue working on my ears not at Clearer Ears - Sue was clearly someone with great experience, no discomfort at all , made me feel at ease and ears were cleared perfectly. I’ll definitely be back !

Excellent service. Lee is a very friendly and professional in his service. I needed an ear cleared of wax and was sorted out perfectly, note of interest, he asked for my permission everytime he needed to touch me and explained what he was going to do before he did it. Highly recommended

I had to attend twice to resolve my blocked ears. I can’t recommend Lee highly enough. An absolute gentleman, easy to talk too and my hearing has improved so much after my visit. If you have ear issues, don’t put off get it sorted, get yourself booked in and also very reasonably priced.

I visited Clearer Clinics in July for ear wax removal and had an excellent experience with Lee. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the procedure. Initially, I was a bit worried it might be painful, given it involved my ear. I shared this concern with Lee, and he took the time to explain the entire process beforehand, which put me at ease. The procedure itself was completely painless and surprisingly pleasant. Lee even showed me pictures of the inside of my ear and explained how the wax buildup had been affecting it. After the removal, he applied an antibiotic spray to help prevent infection. Everything went smoothly, and I left feeling very satisfied with the results. The fees are reasonable, and the clinic is conveniently open on Sundays - perfect if you have a busy weekday schedule.

Had microsuction on my ear which has a 30 year perforation. Lee was very thorough and gental with the wax removal, clearly very knowledgeable about the subject. Lots of good advise and even showed me a picture of my totally clean ear canal and ear drum. The first time I have seen my perforation, highlights why it takes a skilled hand to do this important work. Well done Lee!

Doesn't respond to enquiries and pricing isnt transparent on the website. Further research suggests they charge £150 PER 15 MINS!!! and the website suggests they expect the procedure to take 60 mins. There's no justification for that, it's not brain surgery. Greedy is all it is. This is clearly why they're ambiguous about pricing on the website, and clearly why they never bothered to answer my query. Taking advantage of people who are desperate to have a lump removed that the NHS no longer cares about, is just plain nasty. not nice. Edit: your response is just blatantly untrue and also a personal attack on me. I do not hide behind intitials I am merely not stupid enough to have my name all over the internet. I have plenty of things to occupy my time thank you very much but you don't know me or my situation and this is actually quite a bullying statement from you. You are also wrong because I have the email I sent you in my sent box still, sent 20th July, 22:21pm. And went UNANSWERED. Yes I did return to update my review once I had done further research in order to answer the query I had sent you which you deigned not worth your time to respond to, at which time I then updated my review with further information. Youve also missed the point when you state the timeframe for procedures to be done correctly; i didn't have an issue with the expected duration for procedures, but the £150 PER 15 MINS! Your response shows you are a bully with zero compassion for people, and just enjoy delivering personal attacks on people. It's hard enough having to deal with the mental aspects of what I originally wanted removed without now feeling like a worthless pile of crp thank you

Regarding pricing—our rates are transparent, competitive, and clearly reflect the fact that all treatments are delivered by highly qualified, GMC-registered doctors. Prices listed are per procedure, not per area treated, which is standard across the medical aesthetics industry.


We do not, and would never, perform any surgical procedure in 15 minutes. This is both medically inaccurate and a misleading claim. As for the comment “It’s not brain surgery,” such remarks only further highlight the reviewer’s intent and tone rather than offering any constructive critique.


It’s also worth noting that this individual left a review over a week ago and returned to add further negative commentary—perhaps finding something more productive to occupy their time would be a better use of their energy.

I arrived five minutes late to my appointment and hadn’t signed the consent form they’d sent the day before — something I missed during a busy day. I was told to wait and see if they could still fit me in, so I did. During that time, they attended to another customer who had just returned to book an appointment for his son. Then, instead of following up with me, the practitioner began assisting someone who had only just walked in. When I politely asked if I should just leave — as it clearly seemed they didn’t have time for me — I was told off. The practitioner was belligerent and condescending. While I fully accept that I was late and hadn’t filled in the form, I don’t appreciate being spoken to like I’m a child. My five-year-old daughter, who tapped lightly on a glass cabinet, was also barked at by the same man to “mind the glass.” Apart from being a few minutes late and missing an email, I have no idea what I did to deserve such hostility. Perhaps some training in customer service and conflict resolution is in order — or better yet, don’t cut corners: hire a receptionist who can manage situations like this with basic courtesy and professionalism.

To provide clarity, we have reviewed our CCTV footage and booking records, allowing us to respond factually to the claims made in your review.

As part of our standard procedure, a confirmation text message was sent 24 hours prior to your appointment asking for a simple “Yes” or “No” reply. You chose not to respond. We also sent two emails requesting you complete the required pre-appointment consent forms — these are necessary for any medical or aesthetic treatment, yet you ignored both.

Upon arrival, you were late for your appointment ( 9 mins) and immediately demanded to be seen without delay. While you were in the process of completing the mandatory forms (which should have been done prior to arrival), a previous patient briefly asked a follow-up question, and another client was booked in for an appointment but had not yet been seen.

Unfortunately, your behaviour suggested that you felt your time was more important than anyone else’s. Rather than showing understanding or patience, you became verbally aggressive and threatened staff with a negative review.

We do not tolerate abusive language or behaviour towards our team. Our CCTV footage clearly supports our version of events and disproves the inaccurate claims in your review.

We are confident that potential clients will see beyond this and understand that we operate a fair and professional clinic where everyone is treated with equal respect and care — not just those who shout the loudest.

Lee was very knowledgable and extremely helpful by giving sincere & actionable advice. I was greeted immediately upon arrival and seen promptly, making the whole process very smooth and quick. All in all, I left within 10 minutes and have been given the reassurance I was unable to get from my GP. Would absolutely recommend this clinic.

I couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Lee and Sue. I had written down the wrong appointment time and only realised when I received a message that I was a no show. I immediately called up and explained what had happened. Lee totally understood and booked me in for the next morning. Upon my arrival at my rescheduled appointment he was friendly and we were able to laugh about it despite me being mortified. Lee cleared out my ear but also noticed that it may not be the root cause of the hearing issue and gave great ear health advice. It’s been just under an hour since my appointment and I can already hear much better and my equalibrium is restored. Not only is Clearer Ears spotlessly clean and professional, the customer service is nothing short of excellent. I thoroughly recommend Lee and Sue.

I keep coming back - Lee is an ear God, and I’m not even joking. Best experience of microsuction/syringing ever - and the quickest! You are treated with respect, and your questions are always warmly received and answered. Would recommend Clearer Ears to anyone. Price is very reasonable too.
