Chucktown Scooters is a premier service at a great price! David worked around us and was willing to drop off and pick up whenever and wherever according to our day. We were a group of four, two of us new to riding scooters. After a short tutorial and practice it was easy to ride. We had only a day to see Charleston and this was the way to see the city. We were able to cover a lot of ground and parking was simple. Highly recommend using CHUCKTOWNSCOOTERS!

An amazing idea brought to life. This scooter rental is so well organized and so comfortable that everyone should try it when visiting or living in Charleston and surrounding areas. Dave brings your scooter to your desired location and picks it up when your rental time of concluded. Helmets, gas, accessories are all included. We are already in our 50’ but this much fun we haven’t had for a long time! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!

First class service and scooters at Chucktown Scooters. On short notice Dave dropped a scooter and gave me the basic training needed to prep me for a honeymoon Vespa tour on the Amalfi Coast. If you’re in Charleston and want to rent a scooter this is the place to go.

The BEST experience with Chucktown scooters! Highly recommend! They make it so easy as they drop it off to you and pick it up wherever you leave it. We drove all isle of Palm and Mount pleasant and it was an absolute blast! Will definitely be riding the scooters again next time we visit!🤩

Couldn’t have made a better decision than to rent mopeds with friends from Chucktown Scooters. We are locals to Charleston, but this was such a blast exploring IOP and Sullivan’s Island in a new way. Dave setup an easy meetup point, provided a quick training and made excellent recommendations for a route with quick bites and drinks while also exploring neighborhoods and viewpoints. Bonus - parking is a breeze with scooters :) So fun! We want to do this again, but next time downtown.

We rented two scooters from Chucktown Scooters in Charleston and had an amazing experience. The scooters were dropped off at our Airbnb within the hour, full of gas and looking sharp—mine was seafoam blue and my fiancée’s was green. Riding them around Charleston was such a fun and effortless way to see the city. We zipped through the streets in style, exploring more than we ever could on foot. I’ve rented scooters in other cities before, and Chucktown’s prices for a full 24 hours are hands-down some of the best I’ve seen. The whole process couldn’t have been easier—booking and liability took just three minutes. When we were done, we simply left the scooters at our Airbnb and they were picked up without any hassle. If you’re visiting Charleston and want a fun, convenient way to get around, I can’t recommend Chucktown Scooters enough!
