Welcomed our sweet boy through Kari at Choice Paws in January 2026. We did a LOT of research before selecting a cavapoo breeder. We were drawn to the values of Kari’s program. However, our family was blown away by her ethics, authenticity, love and care, and the time that she invests into her puppies (and their parents) before they head home to their forever families. Kari has excellent communication skills— we enjoy daily updates and videos from the day our guy was born. She education us on realistic expectations, training tools/ situations, puppy gear suggestions, and was easily reachable to answer any questions and concerns. We love that her program fosters community by connecting littermate’s families with each other to share experiences and watch them grow over time. The financial investment was completely worth every penny as we have a healthy, confident, crate-trained little guy who transitioned seamlessly into our lives and daily routine. I would absolutely consider using Kari’s program again down the road.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Choice Paws! From the moment I found Kari on Instagram I knew she was the breeder I wanted to work with. From the beginning of our conversations, you can tell how passionate Kari is about her puppies. She is so extremely easy to work with and she communicates with you through the whole process. Kari does a wonderful job with preparing the puppies to fit into your lifestyle. You get daily videos showing the amount of time and effort she puts into all the puppies. Long overdue review for the worlds BEST breeder. Kari is a godsend!! My Husband and I got baby Gus in September and he came to us at 8 weeks fully potty trained with the bell 🔔. Everyone we tell is in absolute shock he hasn’t had a single accident inside! He’s also the cutest little angel EVER. He adjusted so well in the crate because she starts this early on. He’s also so brave and not scared of sounds and is honestly the best when he’s out and about on the go which is a dream for our lifestyle. She gave us so much information and preparation prior to him coming home with us, it made the transition so easy! We have been asked countless times for Kari’s information since everyone can tell he’s just the best lil pup! Worth every penny for my fur baby! Thank you Kari for completing our little family 💖

It has taken me far too long to write this review because I truly don’t feel there are words that can capture how grateful I am for Kari and this entire experience. Not only does she go above and beyond with her puppies (as anyone who has worked with her or followed her knows), but she is also a deeply caring and loving person who uses her passion for raising puppies to bring joy, light, and hope into the lives of the families they go home to. For me, this has been an extremely emotional and life-changing experience. When I first started following Choice Paws on Instagram, I could already see how much they stood out from other breeders. But it wasn’t until I finally reached out with questions that I knew I had found exactly what I was looking for. I shared with Kari that I had both physical and emotional challenges, as I had recently lost my son, and I became paralyzed and living in a wheelchair. Kari understood immediately what I needed, and she delivered. She didn’t just place me on a waitlist. She listened, cared, and intentionally matched me with the perfect puppy for my needs. She also guided me through preparing for him, helped me get everything set up, and made the transition as smooth as possible. Because of the foundation Kari gave him during those first weeks, my puppy, Themba came home already crate trained, comfortable with routines, and accustomed to learning to training which has made raising a puppy so much easier than I ever imagined. If you are looking for a breeder who goes above and beyond, who pours their heart into giving puppies the very best start in life, and who genuinely cares about the families they go to, Choice Paws is the one. We adopted our puppy, Mickey, in April from Cece's litter, and couldn't be happier that we went with Choice Paws! In addition to ethically breeding strong, healthy Cavapoo puppies, Kari did an amazing job setting him (and us) up for success. We had pre-adoption video calls and Kari sent us regular emails, updates and messages as we prepared to bring our puppy home, and then regularly checked in with us once he was home to ensure that the transition was going well. Before we brought Mickey home, I watched the daily videos of the things she was doing to train Mickey and his littermates. I learned a lot and quickly fell in love with our pup! The time and effort that she puts in to train and socialize the pups really shows. When it was time to go get him, he was calm and relaxed in the carrier in the airport, and even on the plane. Since he was regularly exposed to soundtracks of street noises and fireworks, Mickey does not react at all to outside noises in our neighborhood and was unphased on the Fourth of July. He's great in the car, quietly laying down in his carrier until we reach our destination. He's confident and friendly, and gets along well with all people, including kids, as well as our other dogs and cats. Mickey is very smart and loves to learn. He quickly learned how to use the bells to let us know when he needs to go outside and was fully potty trained within just a couple of months of being home. We are so thankful to Kari for all that she has done, and highly recommend Choice Paws to anyone considering getting a puppy!

An Amazing Experience with Choice Paws! I’m so incredibly happy with my experience getting my puppy from Choice Paws! Thank you Kari for our wonderful puppy! The whole process of picking our puppy until picking him up was amazing. I love how we got daily videos of what the we’re doing and what you were working on. This has helped us continue those practices so it’s a seamless transition. I also appreciate all the guides and tips to help have a happy puppy at home. Our puppy hasn’t had any issues going into his crate for naps or going to the bathroom outside. He slept through the whole night on his first night home! Words cannot describe how WORTH every single penny is for a puppy from Choice Paws. Kari is incredible from start to finish, from FaceTiming to join the waitlist to sending home the most perfect puppy. I am a first time dog owner and after tons of research on how to find ethical breeders (it’s SO hard, so many places look legit but ARE NOT) I actually found Choice Paws from a Reddit thread that was exposing puppy mills and unethical breeders, and multiple commenters said Kari and Choice Paws are the best of the best and truly truly ethical. And my goodness is that true!! She goes above and beyond communicating expectations, testing the parents, making sure the parent dogs live great lives as pets first. She worked closely with me to identify the best timeframe for me to get a puppy and any preferences. After my puppy was born and I matched with the litter, there was never a day that went by where I was concerned or worried about what the puppies were up to, she shares photos and videos daily talking us through what curriculum she is working on with them and why. She has a reason for everything she does!! Her home is clean and the perfect place for our puppies to be raised for the first 8 weeks. I live across the country so Kari connected me with her flight nanny, Julie, to coordinate getting my puppy to me. Julie is also absolutely incredible, and sent pictures and updates the entire day. Now it is day 5 of having my puppy home and he just went into his crate to take a nap all by himself with the door open, has only had 1 potty accident (which was my fault anyways), and has slept 8 hours every single night. All this to say, I cannot recommend Kari enough!! There is not one single I could think of that should make you go with anybody else. 100000/10 to Choice Paws and THANK YOU Kari for everything you’ve done to prepare these puppies to have an amazing life. Kari is truly amazing! From the very start she was so kind and patient, always happy to answer questions and share her experience. While we waited for our puppy, she sent us daily updates with pictures, videos, and little notes about what the pups were learning and doing. It felt so special to be part of their journey. When our puppy came home, we could immediately see how much love and training Kari had put in. We have had our CHOICE PAWS puppy for just over a week now, and we could not be happier! I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Choice Paws! From day one, Kari was absolutely amazing. I was able to follow my puppy’s journey from the day he was born until the day he came home — with Zoom calls, daily photos, and videos showing every step of his growth. Not only is my puppy beautiful and healthy, but during his first two months of life, he was showered with love, care, and affection, as well as given basic training. He arrived already potty trained, sleeping in his crate through the entire night without crying, and with the sweetest, calmest temperament. Kari is such a great breeder. She really takes time to get to know the families and invests a lot of time training the dogs. Bailey was sleeping through the night, crate trained and mostly potty trained when she came home. We get so many compliments on how sweet and well trained she is. Kari is absolutely amazing! She puts so much time and love into each litter. She is very educated on puppy culture and keeps an immaculately clean environment for the puppies to be raised inside her home. She not only breeds for health but also for temperament. Our puppy has an amazing temperament and came to us very socialized. The transition to bringing a new puppy home was so great. Having our puppy come home crate trained and a good start on potty training was so helpful. Kari has been quick to respond with any questions I have.
