It’s 90 degrees today and all of the registers in the ceiling have good air flow along with the ac is cold as heck. 1. Fantastic sales experience. Confidence was inspired by the detailed explanation of the system and the install. When I asked to visit their storefront and fabrication facility, the answer was yes without any hesitation.
2. Install was professional and technically sound. The team removed the old system and installed the new system, which required new everything through new access points in the exterior and new routing through the basement ceiling. I expected all of that, but the Childress install team did everything cleanly and efficiently. Well done!
3. Support. Jimmy the install manager came out the day after install was complete with check the quality of their work and to check on my satisfaction. And he walked me through everything about the system and the install work they performed. Again, well done!
4. Follow up. Jimmy reached out two weeks later to check on the system and to find out if I had and questions or concerns. I stated a minor concern about a rattle on the outdoor unit and he came over the same day to troubleshoot. All that was needed was a little padded tape behind a few fasteners to address the issue. Jimmy is awesome in his commitment to customer satisfaction.
I received several quotes for a complete heat pump installation to include all components. From the moment I requested information I received timely communication. Kal visited my home within 5 hours of the initial contact and was extremely cordial, knowledgable and concise in providing me a quote for my review. I ultimately decided to proceed with Childress for my new Lennox system. The install was scheduled within 4 days. The installers John and Raul arrived on time and were courteous and efficient with their work. They communicated and explained their process and what to expect. Upon final completion John walked me through the system operation and the new “smart” thermostat. My experience with Childress was excellent and their people from Kal to the office and field team only made me more confident that I made the correct choice for my home system install and service.
Prompt response to my phone call on the weekend, provided option to come out right away or wait until Monday. The office, the on-call technician on Saturday, and the technician who performed the work were all extremely courteous and professional. Technician arrived on time, and prices are very reasonable. As a repeat customer, will always use them for my home.

The Childress Heating and Air Conditioning team was professional, knowledgeable, and customer oriented. A complete Lennox Signature Series HVAC system was installed and performing amazingly. The process, from consultation, estimate, installation, and instructions on how to operate the new system proved a welcomed experience.
I called, left a message late one evening. My call was returned early the next morning. A technician was sent out that very day. A part was needed, we ordered it online and they will be back to install it when the part arrives.
What I liked the most about this company…options were given as to how to reduce the cost. A $600 bill became $300. You can’t beat that.
Kal Davis i have been working with for over 15 years and he is phenomenal went through alot of difficult hoops and he was able to resolve those. Definitely for a competent installer and a company that knows what they are doing use Childress also known as Fire & Ice HVAC. The install and systems are superb, got all new ducts, zoning, top of the line carrier systems, air cleaners, uv lights, dehumidification systems. They worked with me on all my very technical requirements since im an HVAC fanatic but i want to recognize their work and dedication to the systems they put in so please call them for great financing rates and system selections they have all kinds and can cater to your unique need.
