Glyn is an excellent trainer. We brought our Australian Kelpie/Welsh Collie cross puppy to Glyn a few months ago and I don’t know where we’d be without him.
The training advice he gives is practical and we’ve made some great progress together.
I originally bought five lessons but plan to extend the training further because of the great results we’ve had already.
I would recommend Cheshire Dog Services to anyone and everyone who needs help with dog training.

Couldn't recommend Glyn and his services enough. He has a vast amount of knowledge and patience which shows in his lessons and how he is with dogs. My dog a first was very shy of certain strangers and by the end of our first lesson she was more than comfortable around Glyn, he also provides advice and training to take home with you so you'ne not sitting idle wondering what to do between sessions. Highly recommend be it to train your puppy or older dog. Very friendly and incredible value for money.

I have a young Yorkshire Terrier who has become reactive. I have now had three sessions with Glyn and there has been a very good improvement in his behaviour. The sessions are well structured and not too intensive making it comfortable for dog and owner to achieve success.

We’ve just finished our 4th session with Glyn and I can’t recommend him enough!
When we first got our adorable Cockapoo puppy, she was a… handful (to say the least). I was deep in the puppy blues and genuinely wondering if we’d made a mistake. She was full of energy and didn’t listen at all. Then we started working with Glyn, and things started to turn around quickly.
He didn’t just train the dog, he trained us by showing how to be consistent, how to handle different situations, and how to communicate with her properly. We’ve covered all the basics like commands, lead walking, recall, and general behaviour, and it’s made such a difference.
He’s clear that you have to put the work in yourself. It’s not an immediate miracle fix and you need to be consistent and follow what he teaches, but it really pays off.
She’s still a lively little pup, but now she actually listens to us and follows commands. I feel confident taking her out for walks, to cafés, and around other people without stressing. I absolutely love having her now instead of feeling overwhelmed.
Glyn is lovely, very down to earth, and clearly knows what he’s doing. Without him, I think I would still be struggling.
Highly recommend!!

We contacted Glyn for help with our new puppy as first time dog owners . From the first initial call we felt very confident that Glyn would be perfect for helping us with our new puppy . Had first lesson today with my 5 month old German Shepard shadow. He was a little reactive on lead around other dogs and people not aggressive just wanted to play by the end of the first lesson he wasn’t jumping up and completely forgot that other dogs was around him. Looking forward to the next lesson. Would highly recommend. Thanks for today glyn much appreciated

I'm sorry you feel that way. I'm extremely careful and never take risks. Its sad that many drivers sit in the outside lane, for miles when there's plenty of time to get in the right lane for everyone's sake.

I could not recommend Cheshire Dog Service and Glyn enough! Glyn has helped us through all the challenging stages with our German Shepherd, Iris. We had several sessions when she was a puppy, Glyn guided us through the all important raining and he was so helpful and encouraging. I gave him a call again not long ago as we have had such issues with reactivity, to the point where I didn't enjoy the walks at all . Glyn showed how to minimise this and by using the right tools, help her and me enjoying our walks again. Now, oy a couple of months later, Iris can be off lead, very rarely reacts to other dogs and we can even take her to pubs and cafes, something I honestly never thought would happen. we are so happy and so is Iris!
The best thing with Glyn is that he genuinely cares and wants to help and give the best service. It hasn't only been about booking sessions, he has been so helpful and encouraging over texts and emails as well.

In one session Glyn had him listening to his every word, waiting 15 minutes next to a pile of treats without eating them. He showed us how to get Samson to sit, lie down, wait at the door and how to get Samson to heel on his walks. He gave us clear commands to give Samson in various situations. It was amazing,.
The next day I took Samson out for his walk, did what Glyn had told us and he walked to heel, wasn't as distracted by people and other dogs. A week on he's brilliant on walks. We both enjoy them a lot more, he heels, leaves other distractions behind him, no longer jumps at, or on people on his walks, and he doesn't try to pull your arm off when other dogs are around [to play with them] . He's a different dog, all thanks to Glyn.
I cannot recommend Glyn and Cheshire Dog Services enough for what they have done for us and Samson. We're continuing to see Glyn to embed what we've learned so far and to enrich ours and Samson's future.

What a guy! I was having real issues with domineering with one of my dogs. He had taken over the house. I had a 2 hour session with Glyn and what a difference. You know we think we are being kind when we do certain things with our pets because we love them, but they require clear boundaries. My dog is a different animal in a week. The advice and strategies Glyn encouraged us to put into place have worked miracles. I plan to move onto outside park training with Glyn so that we can work on his behaviour towards other dogs and I know already the outcomes will be positive. Glyn has profound knowledge and in depth understanding of dog behaviours and now our house and relationships with our dog are calm and loving and have had the most extremely positive effect on my dog, he’s much less anxious and knows a routine and the boundaries we have enforced. Please keep everything going with him, he needs to understand this behaviour change is long term, not just a week or two, he'll adjust and then it won't be a problem anymore but setting boundaries and structures for dogs is what they need, how else can they fit into a humans world? Our Spaniel has become so much more confident with other dogs and people since Glyn has been taking him out. I highly recommend Cheshire Dog Services: they have been very organised and reliable and I feel completely confident with Winston in Glyn's hands!

Glyn came to our aid with our lovely German Shepherd. We were getting a tad desperate with her behaviour and making sense of said. Glyn listened, drew up an understanding and then relayed thoughts and tips in a very clear, personal and thorough way. Followed up with a resume of our first visit and important points and language to use going forward. The dog's behaviours make a lot lot more sense now and we are very happy to work on Rosie-with renewed enthusiasm!
Excellent service-not about making money alone, believe me. Genuine man who tells it the way it is and should be!

All really enjoyed our first session with Glyn thank you. He has a calm, confident and kind approach which had our 3 yr old boxer totally focused. There was lots of positive information - thankfully an email summarising the key points followed. Very useful guidance to ensure good behaviour and a stimulated, active dog.
