Excellent visit at Champagne Gardet! François was super responsive for a group of 11 for my birthday and all was smooth before our arrival and what a welcome on a sunny beautiful day! He made us very welcome and took the time to explain all the différences of champagne and a LOT of champagne tasting! You can tell he speaks and works with his heart! Would definitely recommend a visit !!!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Champagne Gardet! Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome to the lovely atmosphere and delicious champagne. We truly enjoyed every moment of our visit. It was a beautiful and memorable experience, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Champagne region. Francois was an incredible host and beyond courteous to offer us a tour of his operation. He provided a personal experience of his champagne operation. It’s nice to see a multigenerational local owner providing an informative display of his product. It helped us appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into their production.
Zeer aangenaam bezoek aan Champagne Gardet. François gaf ons een interessante rondleiding door de kelders en vertelde met veel kennis en passie over het champagnehuis en het productieproces.
Na de rondleiding konden we verschillende champagnes proeven. Stuk voor stuk zeer lekkere en verfijnde champagnes van uitstekende kwaliteit.

We had such an amazing experience at Champagne Gardet! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome.
François hosted our tasting and was absolutely wonderful. You can immediately tell how passionate he is about what he does. He took the time to introduce us to the different champagnes, explain how they are made, and show us the production process. We learned so much, but everything felt relaxed, personal and genuinely interesting.
The garden is absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere is warm and intimate, and we honestly felt at home there.
Definitely one of the highlights of our trip and by far our favorite experience in the Champagne region. If you’re visiting Champagne, don’t miss this place. Thank you, François, for making it so special!
Hele interessante tour, uitleg van A tot Z over de champagne makerij. Dit duurde ongeveer een uur. Na afloop allerlei soorten champagne mogen proeven. Veel uitleg en heel persoonlijk. We hebben 2 flesjes per persoon mee naar huis genomen. Het was fantastisch!

We waren met z’n vijven en hebben een super leuke proeverij gehad. Veel achtergrondinformatie, waardoor je kijk op champagne wordt vergroot. Aanrader!
Maison Gardet,
François, what passion and enthusiasm!
We truly enjoyed our tour of Maison Gardet. From the moment you arrive, you immediately feel the atmosphere and character of the house.
The welcome takes place in a beautiful, classic glass conservatory, complete with a lovely terrace. We then made our way through the tunnels towards the cellars, where we were able to see first-hand how different parts of the production process take place. François explained the history of the house and how Gardet’s champagne is made in such a fun, enthusiastic and energetic way. His passion for the house and the champagne really shines through.
We have now visited several Champagne houses, ranging from small independent producers to some of the larger and more well-known names. That is exactly why we would encourage anyone experiencing this for the first time to also consider visiting a smaller Champagne house.
You can often discover truly excellent champagnes, in our opinion, even better than those from the major brands, while also receiving a much more personal welcome and a more intimate tour.
François, thank you so much for your hospitality, your enthusiasm and the wonderful tour! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

Wij hebben met vriendenweekend een tasting en tour gedaan bij Gardet. Het was de leukste en uitgebreidste tasting die ik heb gedaan. De locatie is erg mooi. Ik zou sowieso terugkomen als ik in de buurt zou zijn. En ik denk nogsteeds aan de lekkere rose champagne. Francois geeft goede uitleg en is een charmante man. Hij komt heel oprecht over en ziet er goed gekleed uit.
Op het laatste moment nog een tasting bij François kunnen boeken via de website. Hij reageerde vlot op mijn bericht en gelukkig was er nog plek. Het was de beste tasting van ons weekendje met uitgebreide uitleg over de soorten champagne en de verschillen die er zijn. Zeker een aanrader om Gardet te bezoeken!
Wat een fantastische ervaring op een fantastische plek. Tijdens de proeverij zoveel geleerd over de verschillende soorten. En François... die zorgt er echt voor dat je goed voorzien bent van alles. Dikke tip om hier heen te gaan.
