Chama Mama Chelsea never disappoints. The food is incredible every time. The khachapuri alone is worth the visit, and everything else we ordered was packed with flavor. The space feels cozy and lively without being too loud, and the staff are always friendly and helpful, especially if it’s your first time trying Georgian food. Easily one of my go-to spots in Chelsea. Highly recommend.

Food was really good. Nice menu and great wine selection. Like many NYC places, the seating is a bit cramped

Had an awesome time at Chama mama. Food was awesome, showed up without a resi and was seated at the bar which was comfy. Bartender was great and the food was even better. Definitely get the khachipuri and khinkali. The ricotta pancakes were also incredible. Overall a great spot with cosy vibes and great service.

Unfortunately it was not good, we ordered two dishes and told the waiter to order the drinks later, he never came back so we drank water, the dishes arrived at different times, the soup and after about 10 minutes the bread with the cheese inside, the waiter explained that it was because the bread took longer, the primary rule of a restaurant is to bring the dishes at the same time, in short we ate a cold plate, I don't recommend it

Reminds the actual, original, traditional, bold and diverse flavors of the Georgian cuisine. Amazing! My favorite Georgian restaurant in the US so far.

Yum, this place has a delicious brunch and the server Tina guided us in all the right directions. The khachapurri is the star of the show, but no dishes disappointed. The taste of Georgia, the egg dishes, and every bite was a hit.

We sat at the bar, had the dumplings (khinkali), cheese boat (khachapuri), and the beef stew. Delicious! The flavors were subdued but very present and hearty. Definitely go for the ajika trio, the condiments go with everything and really elevate the flavors
Andrea was our server—he was very knowledgeable and eager to share about Georgian cuisine, and had a good knack for making conversation without being too in the mix.
Will come again!
