One of my favorites, and they have good prices for lunch. Decent amount of vegetarian options, especially if you like cheese. The atmosphere is nice and the wait staff are always lovely. I recommend the lobiani.

Мы остались в восторге от обеда в этом ресторане. Все очень вкусно - как в лучших домах Грузии😅🔥 Стол не бронировали, посадили нас во дворике. Милый дворик,много зелени ,уютно. Чисто,опрятно,официант любезный и позитивный. Также мы заказали ассорти из десертов и ваш Наполеон это что-то 🤌🤤 Еще интересный десерт на мой взгляд это это желе на основе виноградного сока (не помню название)

After you visit this restaurant, you may want to visit Georgia or in my case, to return. The khachapuri and the honey cake are on another level. The ambiance of the restaurant is unique. One of the best restaurants I have ever been to.

We had such a nice dinner at Chama Mama. It was one of those meals where you order a few things for the table and just enjoy tasting everything. We started with stuffed grape leaves, then had khinkali, the big Georgian dumplings with broth inside, which were really fun and delicious. We also tried two different stews, including one with chicken, and both were rich and comforting. The khachapuri with egg and cheese was probably one of my favorite parts :) the server mixed it at the table, and it was warm, cheesy, and so good. We also ordered wine, and the sommelier helped us choose something that worked really well with the food. For dessert, we shared a layered chocolate cake slice, which was a great way to finish. Yes it was a tasty, relaxed, and very enjoyable evening. Great service, good food, and definitely a place I’d be happy to visit again.

We went early around brunch time on a Saturday a few weeks ago. We had the khinkali, lamb dolma, and my friends had a few other items. I did inform the server that I had an intense dairy (butter, milk) intolerance and was told the food I ordered was safe. Everything was incredible tasting but I do feel I consumed dairy, either by cross contamination or just lack of menu knowledge the server had. All this to say even with the horrible symptoms I had after the meal, the food was incredible. Even gave me a bowl of fresh tarragon for free to eat with my meal. It felt like I was eating in my Georgian/ Armenian mother in laws kitchen. My one suggestion is to make your menu more inclusive in the text or train servers on menu. Other than that, keep serving delicious food.

The waitstaff is lovely! Super sweet, friendly, and helpful. Or server was Alex and another person, whose name I didn’t get unfortunately, but he was from Columbia and wore glasses - they were both great. So I don’t know if the hostess is always the same person, but make sure to say “hi, how are you?” first, instead of “hi! can we get a table for two please?”, or she will be displeased haha. No matter how friendly and pleasant you sound. She also glared daggers at my partner when they went outside to smoke for some reason? Also, despite coming in and ordering after us and despite ordering the same dish (the khachapuri or Georgian cheese bread), multiple tables got their food served quickly and before us - a table that was sat around 30 minutes after us got theirs first. It took about an hour for ours to arrive on a pretty slow lunch hour. Not sure what was going on there? Apart from the slowness, the food itself was also… just kinda fine. Definitely not bad. We both thought our Taste of Georgia dish was too salty. I think it could have been more delicious with less salt, but maybe that’s just us. The khachapuri was pretty nice! (though still a little salty to me personally.) I swear I’m not affiliated - this is just my honest personal opinion - but for Georgian food (admittedly to a non-Georgian), I really liked Ubani Bistro, a couple blocks away, a lot more. If you end up trying this Chama Mama location, hope you enjoy it and have a better experience than we did. Seems like a lot of people do, so our experience probably wasn’t standard!

Best meal I've had in a long time. The food was genuinely unlike anything I've tried before, and what made it special was the staff — they walked us through the composition of each dish and guided the order in which to eat everything. That kind of attentiveness completely changes the experience. Highly recommend.
