i really appreciate the attention to detail when it comes to this course. each module has essential information that add value to to Adaptive personal training. The videos are very important as well because they give you a hands on demonstration on what exercises, modifications and adjustments that need to be made based off each individual. this is not a cookie cutter training meaning, what works for this individual may not work with another client and this course gave me the understanding that that is OK. really thoughtful and carefully planned course.

I really enjoyed the detailed, trauma-informed, and individual-focused approach of this course. The lessons were practical and easy to apply to real client situations, especially when creating workout plans that can be adapted to each person’s abilities, goals, and needs. I learned how to better adapt exercises, communication, and fitness programs for individuals with different physical, developmental, and cognitive needs, while also learning how to break skills down into manageable steps and build client confidence. This training will help me become a more well-rounded personal trainer and expand the clientele I can confidently work with. I would definitely recommend these courses to other fitness professionals because they provide practical knowledge that you can immediately apply while teaching you how to create a more supportive, inclusive, and successful experience for every client.

I just finished the Adaptive training course and really enjoyed all that it entailed. I appreciate the detailed course modules and the fact that I was able to work at my own pace and on my schedule. I learned a lot about the modifications to traditional strength exercises that can be used safely in these situations. I was hoping to merge my passion for physical fitness with my love for serving the special needs population and I was very satisfied. I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone looking to serve the special needs population in the fitness arena.

It dawned on me that I could put the two together and accomplish so much more together. Then 40 years later came Special Strong.
