This is another hot summer, my AC doesn't work, again. I reported it in March 2025 and I still have not had anyone come out to do anything. My apartment is staying between 80°- 95°+ every day for a week or 2 now.
Last time they waited 4 months, during
100°+ before they replaced the last broken AC. I can't even stay in my place now, unless I want to die of a heat stroke.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I see in our notes you requested the AC be looked at in April (a Previous AC was replaced back in 2022). A vendor was assigned to the job but for whatever reason this was not immediately addressed until recently. In the future, please let us know right away if a vendor is not calling you or there are delays so we can address this matter faster. Thanks
I have used Central Cal Management to manage my property for the last seven years and have been very pleased with the service I've received. They found the tenants and took care of scheduling needed repairs. They keep me in the loop and I feel confident that the needs of the tenants are being addressed and that my property is being taken care of. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I tried doing property management on my own. Without fail, I would get a phone call from my renters that something was wrong either at night or during a holiday. It drove me nuts. If any maintenance issues that arise they handle them instantly. If you own a rental and are tired of the hassle of leasing and maintaining it, consider Central Cal Management.

Central Cal Management nailed the trifecta: value, service, and quality.
I rented with CCM for nearly 4 years, and if it were not for a job opportunity out of state, I would still be there. Rent was affordable and only increased slightly -- and very rarely. That kind of stability is hard to come by these days.
The property itself was always clean and clearly well cared for. Isabel, a CCM team member, came by weekly to clean the walkways, driveways, and laundry area. She did a fantastic job, and honestly, I think her regular visits played a big part in keeping everything in such great shape. It was not just the cleaning -- it was the consistent presence and attention to detail.
Maintenance? Fast and professional. Ted, Bernadette, and Mayra were always quick to respond and genuinely cared. Service felt personal, not transactional.
I happened to have a lovely patio, which made my living experience even better -- but the real standout was the way CCM values both their properties and the people who live in them. That made all the difference.

I’ve had the worse experience with this property management. I’m not sure if they got new staff because all these reviews are positive and unfortunately I’ve only been dealing with them a few weeks and I have nothing good to say. Unit was not move in ready, unit STILL has a lot of work that needs to be done to it. Their polices are ridiculous, you have to pay rent & deposit immediately after being approved and move in even if there are broken doors, broken lights, broken toilets & broken stoves

We're sorry to hear that you are not happy with the condition of your apartment. During the initial walk through that was conducted by you and our staff member, a few minor items were noted and we immediately contacted vendors to address the matter. It is not uncommon to sometimes find issues that arise after a tenant has moved in. A few items remain that still need to be addressed and it is my understanding that some of the delays in repairing those items were due to you and your roommate not responding to the vendor to schedule an appointment and in one instance, the vendor also had an appointment but no one was home. We will work to address any matters that are yet unsolved. Please be on the lookout for calls, etc. from the vendors to address any unresolved matters. Thank you.
CCM was a great property Management group. They were attentive and friendly, they responded in a timely manner to requests, complaints and concerns. Would definitely seek out another property if I was moving to Bakersfield again.
