Jennifer, Cat Advocate, saved my family. I've been a multi-cat mom for 50 years, but I couldn't figure out how to get Pippin urinating in the box again. Jennifer did a thorough interview and analysis and came up with a solid action plan. One step at a time, we've been working through it, and things have turned around! Jennifer has been there supporting us through each step and answering all my questions. Everyone needs help sometimes, even old cat ladies, and Jennifer is the one to go to if you and your cat are having relationship issues. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Jennifer was so knowledgable, insightful, and caring about our challenging cat situation. We wanted to take in a feral cat who had been tamed, but our indoor would have none of it! She was extremely aggressive toward the outdoor cat. The situation became critical when we were moving and wanted to take both cats with us. Jennifer gave us the skills, ideas, and support to make the transition, and the cats are now peaceably co-existing in the same space at our new home!!! They may not be besties, but they don’t want to kill each other either, and I consider that a huge success. I am so grateful we were able to take along the feral with us, who is now anything but feral. They are both most spoiled, as it should be. (Haha.) Another five-star review for Jennifer.⭐️🐾👍

I have 2 bonded Calico sisters (Emma and Camilla)🥰 🥰. I’ve had them for 4 years and they have always gotten along. One day I brought Camilla to the vet and when we got home Emma attacked her. They fought 3 times that day and after 3rd fight I separated them. For 2 and a half months I tried everything to reintroduce them. I was making progress but they were still unable to be in the same room together longer than a 10 to 15 minutes (longer resulted in hissing and swatting). I reached out to Jennifer and we had an amazing session (& follow up emails). Jennifer provided me with many helpful tools to help me resolve the situation. Jennifer also gave me insight on why the situation happened in the first place and ways to prevent another event from occurring. Now the fur babies are able to sleep in the same bed together, sit at the window together and spend many hours together without any issues. I truly grateful to Jennifer! I would highly recommend her. Thank you again for your help.

We had an issue with one of our cats not going in the litter box. Had a call with Jennifer she suggested a number of things to keep him happy and some improvements with our litter box set up and we got instant results. She also continuously checked in and is very responsive via email.

We reached out to Jennifer to help acclimate our 14 year old diva, Barcelona, and our 3 year old rascal, Blanco. We had been having trouble because after two fights, Barcelona became terrified of Blanco. During the consultation, Jennifer went in depth with our cats history, diet, enrichment, environment, etc. and really got to know all the details. She gave us tips and tricks on different ways we can help build Barcelona’s confidence and how Blanco can burn off the extra energy he has so he doesn’t try to play wrestle. The behavior modification plan Jennifer made for us has been a game changing blueprint for us as we try to get out kitties to coexist peacefully. We had started to lose confidence in if they would get along and we have been following Jennifer’s plan for the past week and are starting to see some changes that are trending in the right direction. We feel much more confident in our little love bugs coexisting, and we really appreciate the continued support from Jennifer through this process with any questions we have. You can tell that she genuinely LOVES what she does and cares about cats and wants to help all of our kitties be happy. Thank you so much Jennifer!

I have two older cats and a newly introduced younger cat. The three are not getting along! I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of attention not only in our first two hour session but ongoing contact. Both the Zoom session and the subsequent emails have been very helpful. Life among my cats is not perfect but it's definitely improving as I follow the guidance offered!

I received a consultation almost two weeks ago and I would recommend Jennifer’s services to anyone needing help with their fur babies behavior. Jennifer is delightfully thorough, not only going over useful information during the consultation but will also send you an email of everything she discussed with you. She also makes herself available for follow up emails and questions. I have followed her behavioral plan for my Edward and Zoe, have begun to notice improvement from the first week, and believe that her services were well with the expense.

It's been one week since our consultation for intercat tension and some litter box issues, and we are already so grateful for Jennifer's help. She was calm, non-judgmental, and full of easy-to-implement and practical suggestions, many of which we could start right away. I knew we'd appreciate her knowledge of nutrition, but I didn't know how much. It never occurred to me that food and feeding could be part of the equation with the issues we've been experiencing, but her suggestions here have already been invaluable. I reached out to Jennifer after dealing with sibling aggression between my two cats for over a year - aggression which was also resulting in litter box issues in addition to fighting. I'd had my cats separated in my apartment for months and was at my wits end; I had no idea what else to do, I felt like I'd tried everything I read about online. The consultation session was itself incredibly helpful, educational, and really helped me understand better what might be behind the behaviors and I was given practical tips that I was able to implement immediately. The Zoom format was great, as Jennifer was able to see the cats' normal behavior without the presence of a stranger altering things (my cats are stranger-shy). The follow-up information included a detailed game plan, with so many useful resources, and periodic check-ins are helping to really tailor my strategies to their progress and individual personalities. I left the consultation more optimistic than I had been in MONTHS about managing and redirecting the problem behaviors, and eventually reintroducing the cats at some point. We're still working up to that, as change takes time, but I'm seeing real progress even in the last three weeks as I'm implementing some of the diet and environmental changes and introducing some behavioral training techniques. Honestly, I wish I'd called a year ago!

We have 2 cats, 4 and 3 years old, both female. For the last couple months, one has started using the bathroom outside of the litterbox, in piles of clothes and in general seems super stressed. We ruled out medical issues and were at our wits end. Jennifer was so incredibly thorough. She went through all the details, came to the conversation well prepared and with a clear and easy communication style. She obviously has a ton of experience with cats and has invested a lot of time in educating herself. She backed her suggestions with science-based information which was a big plus for me. We're only day 1 into the behavior plan and already seeing progress. 🙌 Definitely recommend!
