Always, 100% of the time, we buy meat here for special occasions. Never disappointed in the quality and always enjoyed by our guests. Favor the French pinwheel steaks, although the Ribeyes are delicious as is the New York strip. Have also had their lamb chops and veal. Not inexpensive, but a wonderful, once a month treat that is well worth the cost.

I go to Mike's quite a bit. I live in Glen Ellyn. Mike's is amazing! Love this fish and specialty items. Many choices of types and cuts of meats. Superior quality! Also, sells frozen Mike's products and some name brand products. The delli has amazing home made salads of all types, dips. I have tried many meat markets and find Mike's sausages, lunch meat and made to order sandwiches superior to other meat markets.

We placed our first order yesterday, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Since it was our first time, we had quite a few questions. The butcher was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. He guided me on quantities and recommended the right cuts, which I truly appreciated. The meat exceeded my expectations. It was exceptionally fresh and absolutely delicious. Everything was packaged beautifully, and the overall presentation and cleanliness were impeccable. I am so happy to have discovered this local gem. It is truly a world apart from store-bought meat. Needless to say, this is where I will be purchasing my meat from now on. To the person who helped me, thank you so much. I did not catch your name, but I truly appreciate your time and expertise.

I received a large cut of beef from a friend and I needed to trim it and cut into steaks. I had no idea how to trim it or cut it correctly. I called Mikes to see if they could help out. I was lucky enough to speak with Steve and he helped me identify the cut and what I needed to do. I realized this was going to be above my ability so I asked if he made house calls. Surprisingly, he said he would come by cut it up and wrap it for me. I was very happy to hear that. Steve came by with all the tools and paper and got to work. He gave me a tutorial while he worked so I could cut up the next one I get. He is an artist with a knife and knows his craft as well as being a nice guy. I was very impressed with him and his knowledge. I would recommend Mikes to anyone looking for quality cuts of meat along with great customer service.

Love my little old man Saturday morning routine. Kirschbaum's and straight over to Casey's. What's more suburban and American than that? Casey's meat counter and deli are excellent. You can grab eggs and milk as well. Happy Saturday!

Loyal customer for years but Casey's has become so overpriced and greedy for what you get. Bought cooked shrimp which averaged $1.25 ea., unwrapped the cheese I paid over $5 to find only 6 paper thin slices, the ribeye steak was actually pieces tied together and the stuffed chicken breast which previously averaged $6 ea. is now almost $9. Finally there is the 3% credit card charge. Switched to Whole Foods which is better and more affordable.
