He quickly diagnosed the problem causing no signal from the aerial , then made a special run to get the spare parts and returned within an hour to fit and fix the problem. Neil Goodyer of Carter Aerials visited today to fix a loss of signal problem with the TV.
Neil worked methodically through the various possibilities including going up on the roof to check the aerial. The roof aerial was fine but the problem turned out to be an unexpected faceplate failure.
The TV's are now up \and running! Thank you Neil for your excellent work which was carried out in a most professional and friendly way and I would heartily recommend Neil to anyone who needs a TV aerial repair.
We'd been having aerial problems for a while and then found a broken bit that had fallen off. Contacted Neil and was around quickly to give an estimate and arrange an appointment at our earliest convenience.
Showed us a meter reading of the current received signal, replaced the aerial and showed us the new result. Wasn't completely happy and so checked our internal sockets and connecting cables. Ended up rewiring one socket and replacing a couple of connecting cables.
He wasn't going to the charge for the extra but was so pleased with his thoroughness I asked him to add a little on. Would recommend his services 110%.
Lost all TV signal in the house, checked the obvious, then roof and found it part broken and the amp hanging off. Rang Carter Aerials, got answerphone, but before I could leave a message they were calling me back.
