Dr. Zalauf's office billed both me and my insurance for a service that was not actually completed. The procedure code literally described “destruction (freeze, burn, or laser removal),” yet no such treatment was performed during my visit. Instead, I was given a $60 cream and asked to return for the actual treatment.
When I called to address my concerns, I received explanations for the billing, but the reality remains that I would have to pay again for another consultation and the treatment I originally believed I had already been charged for. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I will be seeking another provider who can complete the treatment properly.
