Carl fitted our new bespoke kitchen. Excellent service all round and really happy with his workmanship. We've got more work lined up for him, including some custom made shelving for our library. Would 100% recommend.

Very happy with the service from Carl and Gerli, we had a great experience. Professional, good communication, friendly and took care to explain every step of the process and make sure we were happy and involved at every stage. I also felt very comfortable in the house while the work was going on and Carl was very understanding and kind with our elderly dog. The result was better than I had imagined and we are very keen to ask them back for future jobs! Thanks again both.

Carl quoted and then replaced three external doors for me. I'd done my best patching them up but I needed expert help. Gerli communicated very well and all was agreed. I'm delighted with the doors which are now weatherproof and secure. Carl gave me great advice about how to care for them going forward. I am very happy to recommend Carl's Carpentry.

Carl did an exceptional job fitting laminate flooring in all the rooms of my flat. He was very friendly, punctual, and thorough, making sure to involve me in every step of the process. 15/10. Would easily recommend Carl to absolutely anyone looking for a high quality finish to work. Not only is he good at the work he does, he's also extremely kind, helpful and goes way above and beyond to make sure you're happy with the work. Kept us informed anytime a new task was being started and made us feel involved in the whole process. He even saved us when our toilet decided it wanted to give up on life. Honestly the best person I've ever had the honour of carrying out work in my property. I hate leaving reviews but there is no way I could not give a 5 star and recommend enough!

After many issues with tradesmen’s who were far from up to scratch and unprofessional, I became apprehensive in respect of who I permitted to complete work for me. Carl adapted some door frames and hung internal doors in the property which was a bit of a challenge for him as the door frames were all odd sizes. That said, carl completed the work to a very good standard and he was friendly and professional. I would use carls service again and highly recommend him.

Carl recently completed a media wall job for us after finding him online via Instagram/Facebook. Having not known Carl prior to the work being done we decided to give him the job due to the following…. Carl turned up when he said he would to measure and provide a quote which was recieved promptly. We then arranged a date and again Carl was here everyday he said he would be, on days that he was delayed he always stayed and made sure the work was down to ensure the job was completed on time. Carls work is of a high standard and any questions or concerns we had during the job were answered by Carl and sorted. As with any job a few problems occurred which again Carl put right. I would highly recommend Carl for your carpentry needs aswell as being a good carpenter he is a an all round top bloke. Thank you Carl for helping us. (The photo I have added is before stuff needs to be completed on our behalf so doesn’t quite look the finished article yet).

Carl was amazing! Not only has he done a great job installing our internal doors but he also provided tips on how we can paint them to a great finish! Highly reccomend

Pergola and gate Can highly recommend Carl for designing and building my pergola. He listened to everything I wanted included and managed to get every aspect in and suggested a few things to improve. Was happy to talk things through and adapt as it was taking shape. There’s hidden storage a place for cool boxes/ice buckets and an amazing BBQ/fire pit. Call also built a gate from scratch to fit our drive which is built to last and the right height. He worked on weekends if weather was troublesome to keep on time schedule nothing is too much trouble.

I have used Carl's services on two occasions and on both his workmanship has been first class. He really takes the time to understand what your spec is and can offer good solutions or suggestions to any problems. We were really pleased with our staircase, doors and flooring and for each Carl took the time to explain what he was going to do. He's very friendly, helpful and thorough with his work. I would highly recommend him for any carpentry services and customised storage solutions.

When we unexpectedly acquired a new son to the family, we needed an urgent fix to our spare room to accommodate him. Carl gave a fair quote and then went on to deliver an amazing service- giving a vulnerable lad his own personal space to feel safe and at home- and he worked tirelessly for 3 days solid on the job and we are eternally thankful not only for his skills, but his underaranding of the situation we were in need of resolving and his complete committment to getting the jib done for us. Carl is as much a part of the well-being of our new family member as any one of us. I could try to recommend Carl and Gerli harder, but I don't think it's possible! Absolutely top class. I cannot praise any harder. If he has slots of availability and you have a need, then book him, you'll be as delighted as I am with the results.

Carl has done loads of work for us. Always reasonable and on time. Gives advice where necessary. We had fences built that last and it's been few years now and didnt move an inch. We live in a hight wind area. Also build under the stairs custemized cupboards to accomodate my fridge into it. He also fitted all our oak doors and handles. We're very lucky to know him as he is very versatile and accommodating. Wouldnt have anyone else :)
