Excellent service. Etienne made the whole process incredibly easy including coming to our home to value and take away our car. Immediate payment made by the business and for a better price than the dealership trade-in team offered for our new car. I’d definitely do business with them again.

Wow, I seriously never thought selling a car could be this easy! The agent was super professional – he came, took a few photos, we drove the car together for like 2 minutes, he gave me the quote in 5, signed docs, and the money was in my account in another 5. Haha, the whole thing was done before we even finished lunch! And the quote wasn't bad either; it might've been a grand less than market, but the ease of it all was totally worth that loss. Plus, dealing with the marketplace, especially with a loan to pay off, it was all just so easy. I loved it!

Two Senior Canadian 🇨🇦 tourists, we had a car to sell after our 4 month visit to New Zealand. CarBuyNZ was an absolute delight to deal with... quick, efficient, professional.
After uploading our photos, the preliminary offer came in that evening. The next day, Wyn CAME TO US, inspected the car, offered us a very slightly reduced price (hubby had rubbed the left wheel at the curb a few too many times! 😄), and we shook hands! The car was re-registered on the spot, money was in our account within 2 hours of Wyn's arrival to view the car.
Being foreigners, unfamiliar with NZ laws, we were suspicious and somewhat skeptical of the "standing in a parking lot /over-the-phone /online" registration and money transfer ... Wyn took the time to explain and reassure; he was unrushed, professional, and personable.
The negative experiences of the previous 3 days with Turners (offered us fully $4,000 less than Car Buy!) and with 2CheapCars (offered us $2500 more than Turners, but $1500 less than Car Buy, and then ghosted us!) and with AutoFlip (after a lovely conversation with Jack, and a promise to contact us at "2 o'clock Monday" he never got in touch again.) had us feeling very discouraged and jaded. We found the whole process with Car Buy to be professional, honest, concise AND enjoyable.
MANY THANKS Wyn and Team! What a wonderful close to a lovely trip to New Zealand! We will be back.
