My favorite tool when building any website
Overall: I like how easy it is to use, no need to be a computer genius to use WordPress, it lets us create websites in record time, what’s the coolest is that the websites are built on an efficient WordPress CMS. Pros: The best thing I liked first with WordPress is that I can create websites very quickly without needing to code. Its flexibility is unmatched in its field allowing any user to create their own website and start reaping the benefits. Cons: I really don’t have much to complain about WordPress, it generally does what I ask it to do. Sometimes it can be a bit tricky to handle some plugins or updates, but overall it works fine.
Why WordPress is Still King When it Comes to Website Development in 2025
Pros: WordPress has numerous templates ranging from Portfolios, one page websites, themes such as Astra and Neve that helps designers and website developers create website very fast. Furthermore, it has numerous plugins that help add additional functionality to a website such as Payment Integration or an online shop. Overall, i highly rate the Platform. Cons: There is nothing to dislike about WordPress as it meets all my needs as a frontend engineer. Thereby i highly rate it!
WordPress for the Press
Overall: The new features will make you call the old site boring if you have as much experience with it as I do. Pros: The new AI feature makes me miss using this software. It is expensive now, but it is worth every penny. The finishing products are immaculate. Cons: I stopped using the product and switched to Wix which is also an amazing product. I loved it more when my website and domain were free.
Absolutely amazing and reliable platform - sky is tour limit!
Overall: Overall Wordpress is a fantastic platform for everyone, no matter what is your skill level or budget. Gives you free themes and premium themes, same with plugins. Because it’s so big and popular I find it easy to integrate with everything. If something can’t be integrated with WP it’s not worth using. I design websites in WP and I don’t have IT background, I’m a designer and I’ve done over 700 websites without any IT support, and that’s thanks to Wordpress! Pros: Oh, where to start! Wordpress is amazing platform! I can honestly say that you can do anything with it no matter the skills lever or budget. Cons: Not much really, the amount of updates is now way bigger than it used to but that is making it more save and more reliable than before. Maybe support could be better but it’s the size of the platform so possibly not realistic.
Use of wordpress
Overall: It is easy to create simple website without much complexity and can be used for simple websites where not much of complicated options are needed Pros: Can be used to creat websites without coding. Easily websutes can be created in simple steps. No coding programming knowkedge is required Cons: It has complex options and cannot support much speed and scalability is less in my opinion. It needs regular updates and backups
Very versatile but difficult to use
Overall: I commissioned the creation of an ad-hoc website and the result was very good. It was a real estate website, therefore quite complicated. I added some plugins for specific features. However, I had some issues, especially because it did not allow the creation and the integration of an xml feed, which for real estate is very basic. Pros: WordPress is very versatile and it allows the creation of a very customised website. it works with many different themes and it offers a huge variety of plugins that can be implemented to add more features. Some are free, some require a payment, but they allow to add many different features to your website. Cons: I find it very complicated to use. Unlike other website builder systems that are very easy to use even without any technical knowledge (or with a minimal one). to work with WordPress I had to hire a web designer, and this of course affects the costs.
WordPress Really Works
Overall: We have used several formats on a couple of sites and find that changing the "look" can improve site interactions. Pros: Multiple design choices, more than one that could have fit our company products and preferred layout. Cons: Several add-on ;modules were needed to get the site to properly update and constantly look the way we wished.
Accessible web development for the masses
Overall: Overall I have had a positive experience with Wordress over the years, I've developed, managed, run, troubleshooted, migrated many wordpress sites over the years and it has always been a trustworthy straightforward platform to work with. Pros: Wordress has been the king of accessible web development for the masses. With wide 3rd party support and continuous development of the platform it has been the go to for a large part of the web. Wordpress is great in that it's capable of both simple and custom complex website and has a lot of support out there if you need it. Cons: Being one of the most popular web platforms it also unfortunately becomes a large target for bots and hackers that will try to exploit security vulnerabilities, however luckily many of those concerns can be mitigated through various means.
Good product, back-end needs streamlining
Overall: Overall a good experience and satisfied with the front-end results for websites I've build on this platform. Pros: Robust website builder and hosting platform with tons of sleek, unique, and comprehensive templates for various types of websites. Cons: Templates have limited customization available in freemium offering. Back-end of the platform can be overwhelming.
What can't be done with WordPress?
Overall: I love WordPress. I used it for a basic blog a zillion years ago and have built dozens of sites using it. I love that WordPress can make a simple and fast site for a brand new business - or can be full fledged and robust for a large company. Pros: I love developing in WordPress - I love watching it grow and seeing new features added. It makes me excited to see all the things WordPress can do. Cons: The WordPress community has been fracturing and Matt Mullenweg's behavior is concerning. I don't love worrying that a CMS I've been using for 20ish years could vanish due to his whims.
Easy to use and Looks Great!
Overall: I have worked with Wordpress for 10+ years and I have never had an issue. The plug-in library that they offer is second to none. Pros: I am a huge fan of the ease of creating, editing and posting content. I do not have experience in HTML so the ease of doing things via Elemontor is critical. Cons: The only issue I have is I often am updating several sections of our website at one time, however, it is not easy to switch from one section to the site to another.
Hard-Pressed to Find Anything Better Than WordPress
Overall: WordPress has allowed the rapid deployment and customization of the core website as well as the ability to quickly create landing pages that enable marketing campaigns. The overall ease of implementation sets WordPress apart in the market and the community support is fantastic. Pros: Ease of configuration and the ability to quickly develop sites. The library of available plugins is extensive and enables advanced features and integrations Cons: The use of multiple plugins is great but there are a few instances where plugins conflict and lead to negative user experiences.
Great website maker tool
Overall: Pretty great experience to create a website. It a nice simple way to build a website if you don't have any experience Pros: Wordpress is nice tool to build websites. You have plenty of option for a nice looking website. You can also have pretty great options too. It's very nice to work with. Cons: It could have a lot more plugin that you can add to enhance the things that can be done with the tool.
Generally easy to use.
Overall: Generally a good experience. It would be nice if there was a better option for registration functions. Pros: It's easy to use for beginners, but lots of add-ons available for users of various experience levels. Cons: Some features are not as intuitive as others, and I find myself looking for answers on Reddit or YouTube.
Great visual editor and content manager for websites.
Overall: Overall, my experience has been mostly positive. WordPress is a powerful platform for designers who want both creative freedom and scalability, but it does require regular maintenance and performance optimization to run smoothly. Pros: As a designer, I appreciate how flexible WordPress is when it comes to customisation. The vast library of themes and plugins allows me to create high quality sites without touching much code, and tools like Elementor or custom CSS give me extra control over the design when I need it. Cons: Sometimes it can feel bloated and clunky, especially when too many plugins are installed—it slows down the site and sometimes leads to conflicts.
Introducing WordPress: The worlds Best Website builder and content management system
Overall: My overall experience with WordPress is superb. As a content management system and a website builder creating a website is fast as the ecosystem has numerous free and premium themes that can be edited by website builders such as Elementor. Its Drag and drop features are also great and users require minimum technical expertise to create a website . Overall i Give it a 10/10 Rating. Pros: What i love most about WordPress is its ability to integrate with numerous plugins such as WooCommerce, Google Sitekit, Elementor thats the best website builder and WP forms. Cons: WordPress meets all my needs thereby there is nothing that i do not like about it as a website builder and a content management system.
WordPress - The Engine Behind Your Site
Overall: Overall I have liked working with Wordpress which has been simple and powerful to use. Regardless of preferring Joomla or direct to PHP coding, I find that Wordpress is a simple platform for putting together websites and maintaining them. Pros: Great all around web Content Management System to run websites and blogs online. Widely used by many Web designers and agencies. Cons: While Wordpress is widely used it is not a complete system and does require enhancing by using plugins and extensions as well as design template. This can be a pro or a con but on the con side it does bloat the system and tends to affect performance.
