Rating: 5/5 Stars We had the pleasure of staying at Cape Village Lodge for a recent matric farewell. While we only booked for one night, the lodge provided the most perfect backdrop for our special day, and our stay was delightful. The lodge's setting in its lush, tranquil garden made for truly beautiful and memorable photo opportunities. It offered a sophisticated and peaceful atmospher. The photos came out stunning! The staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful, especially when we used the dining room for snacks and final preparations. This space was elegant, comfortable, and made hosting a small gathering before the event easy and stress-free. Our room was luxurious, exceptionally clean, and quiet, offering a welcome refuge after a busy evening. The high-quality amenities and attention to detail ensured a comfortable and restful night. Cape Village Lodge is an absolute gem. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Durbanville. Thank you for a wonderful memory!

Can absolutely recommend the Cape Village Lodge. Beds sleep so comfortable. Bedding top notch! Bathrooms heated towels, and under floor heating. Wow! It was an experience to stay there. Price also reasonable for the safety, comfort, and attention to detail of the Lodge.

☺ This was a very comfortable property with friendly staff and in a good location. It was a delight to discover Durbanville and the lodge gave great recommendations on places to eat. It was nice to have one's own private wing and to have decent heating, we found the weather cold! All round it was a very pleasant stay.
☹ Very few places ever seem to provide more than one decent-sized bath towel, and we had difficulty drying ours given the cold weather. It would be great to be given two large bath sheets per person. I had forgotten to request a non-dairy milk and gluten-free products for breakfast, just assuming that these are pretty standard nowadays. So this did limit options. But it was not a train smash. The parking area is small and a little difficult to negotiate getting out - reversing being not my top game - fortunately I could rely on the skills of my co-driver!
