Neil is an absolutely fantastic guide. His local knowledge is second-to-none. We took a full day tour with Neil and he was very accommodating of our random requests, and answered all of our questions (whether that be of the flora or politics!). We couldn’t recommend him enough.

We cannot speak highly enough of our guide for the day Cecil, he gave us an insightful tour of the Cape “down one side back up the other” with numerous stops along the way to highlight specific places of interest, we finished our tour with a visit to a local winery outstanding setting with local Cape Town wines, we arrived late into Cape Town however Cecil was flexible in moving the itinerary around to capture everything that the Cape offers would recommend this tour again

Outstanding service that made my bucket list come true! Cape Town Day Tours saved my trip — book them without hesitation
Both my shark and whale tours were cancelled due to weather — I thought I’d have to miss them entirely. Monique stepped in, rebooked both with new operators, and rearranged schedules so I could do both in one day without compromising the experience.
Her communication was calm, clear, and kind throughout — even with constant changes. Tyrone, my driver, was just as amazing — safe, efficient, and warm, like being on a road trip with your favorite uncle. He even added a surprise detour to see penguins at Stony Point!
Thanks to them, I got to check off both bucket-list tours — and they became the highlight of my entire South Africa trip.

We visited Cape Town in June 2025 and were blown away by the beautiful nature, wildlife and cityscape. We were extremely fortunate to have experienced this beautiful city with our amazing guide, Mr Neil Ferguson. Upon greeting us at the airport, Neil instantly made us feel at home with his warm hospitality and lively energy, and we couldn't help but feel his enthusiasm and love for the city rub off on us. He is "Google, Cape Town edition" - ask him any question and be prepared to learn many bonus gems of information about the city on top of the wealth of knowledge he has on all the major sites. His heart, humour and dedication to showcase Cape Town to the world is a big reason why this trip will hold a special place in our hearts. You will not regret choosing Neil as your guide.

We had an amazing experience with Cape Town Day Tours! The communication was fast and easy, and our guide was incredibly flexible and responsive to our needs. The Cape Peninsula Tour was perfectly paced, with no rush and plenty of time to explore – even extended the day without any stress and added some hidden gems :).
The Wine Tour was also great. We’d recommend limiting it to two tastings instead of three for a more relaxed experience. Zevenwacht was our favorite – very rustic and charming. We’d personally swap La Motte and Fairview Wine for another more rustique wine experience.
Overall, a fantastic service – we’d definitely book again!

I hired a driver for a full day to move my family around Cape Town and was lucky enough to get Alfonzo. He was extremely accommodating to our preferred destinations and schedule, and made great suggestions throughout the day to enhance our approach to traveling point to point. The company and driver communicated well and everything was smooth from inquiry to execution. Would certainly recommend their services.
