We organised a Christmas cruise the night before our wedding for family and friends. The staff were great both in the lead up and organising to the night itself. The food was good too. They held on for some of the party when they had a taxi disaster. Would recommend for something different to sitting in a pub for a meal.

Had a brilliant afternoon on a festive afternoon tea trip. We had one regular and one savoury afternoon tea and both were very tasty. Tea and coffee refills were regularly offered and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We were gifted this trip as a voucher and would recommend it.

What a lovely time I had with my Mum for afternoon tea. All the staff were very friendly. It was warm with each booth having a radiator. Food was lovely and fresh. Plenty of hot drinks brought around. Nothing too much trouble. Clean inside. Would definitely recommend and would go again!! Thank you so much.

A great little afternoon out. Easy to get to as only a ten minute walk ( at a seniors pace) from the train station. The staff were polite, friendly and very helpful to my adult daughter who has mobility issues. The boat was warm, clean and welcoming. Food was freshly made and totally delicious. We spent two hours sailing down the canal at a leisurely pace, just watching the world go by without a care.

We enjoyed a lovely 3 hour Christmas lunch cruise, I would recommend it to everyone, the food was lovely, 3 courses, the staff were very good and the atmosphere was great, this was our 3rd trip so they must be doing something right. We booked the Christmas lunch trip with no high expectations. How wrong were we! We were greeted by the crew as we boarded and shown to our alocated table which had Christmas crackers and table decorations.The cabin was decorated with tinsel and fairy lights. Our trip up the canal started at 11.00 and the crackers were pulled and everyone was in the Christmas spirit. The crew told us a little about the history of the canal as we went. Drink orders were taken followed by lunch. A delicious soup was the first course followed by a lovely turkey dinner and a choice of apple pie and ice cream or Christmas pudding for dessert. This was followed by coffee and mints. The helpings were generous and all was cooked perfectly. We were really impressed and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We will definitely be back

A quick phone call as we booked ensured they were able to enjoy their day and their food with absolutely no issues. My wife and I went on a two hour tea cruise. The sandwiches, cake and tea/coffee were really lovely! The lads looked after everyone very well. Although it was raining, the trip was so relaxing and the radiator under each table kept us warm throughout. Thank you for a lovely day.

We had a great time on the Magical Santa Trip The boat was cosy with fleecy blankets to take the chill off from a cold rainy day! Christmas music playing plenty for the kids to look at along the way and Christmas colouring books to keep them amused too! Santa was absolutely brilliant – not rushed at all, really took his time chatting, and made the children feel so special. The gifts were great quality too, not the usual “stocking filler” type! The little extras made it even better: hot chocolate and mince pies for the grown-ups, juice & gingerbread men for the kids, and lovely views along the canal. It was relaxed, Christmassy, and just a genuinely lovely way to spend an afternoon. Would 100% recommend it to families looking for something magical without the chaos of big Santa events. We’ll definitely be back 🎅✨
