I had gotten an estimate on my door that had 3 dings or small dents on top of each other on my passenger front door of my GMC Sierra Denali. The estimate was in line with others I had gotten. So, I went with Caliber based on my son having previously had work done there. I dropped my truck off and got a call back about an updated estimate which increased from $918 to nearly $3500. I was already under the impression the door was being replaced. Whether it was just the skin or whatever. That was not the case. That $918 was for being repaired. After telling them no on the $3500 to replace it, I called back to see how they repair it. I was then told it couldn’t be repaired. There was no labor on the estimate etc. It became this open ended estimate not knowing the cost. These were just 3 small dents maybe 11/2” long most likely from someone backing into the door with a trailer. It wasn’t hit with force. I just felt it was a bait and switch. Needless to say I picked my truck up. I felt really uneasy leaving it with them. Just my experience. 12/1/25
