What an amazing experience on the Barron River! It had the perfect balance of excitement and relaxation — thrilling rapids when you wanted the adrenaline rush, and calm, scenic sections where you could simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
A huge shout-out to our guides Dine, Jack, and Zac. They were professional, friendly, and made everyone feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip. Their instructions were clear, and the way they spoke to us was always calm and gentle, which really helped us relax and enjoy the adventure.
I also want to mention Jade, who welcomed us at the beginning. Her briefing on the bus was very detailed and easy to understand, so we knew exactly what to expect before we even got on the water.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairns. Definitely worth trying!

Tubing tour: Super fun, all ages. Especially the rapids. By Jack - age nine and a half.
Great “lazy river” vibe through the tropical rainforest with a few fun small easily manageable rapids thrown in. Fun for adults and kids alike. Highly recommend!

We recently did the Daintree–Cape Tribulation full-day tour with Cairns Adventure Group, and it was a fantastic experience.
The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, allowing us to see an incredible range of sights without ever feeling rushed. The day flowed smoothly, was well organised, and gave us the opportunity to experience some of the very best highlights of this beautiful region.
Our tour guide, Pilvi, was outstanding—friendly, organised, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout the day. She shared interesting information about the area and even kept everyone entertained with a great music playlist on the long drive back.
We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend Cairns Adventure Group to anyone wanting to experience the Daintree and Cape Tribulation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Our family (2 adults, + 11 yr old) did the Rainforest River Tubing with Jade, Tina and Rocky this week. The Little Mulgrave River was stunning, with a few short rapid burst. Safe to say the 11 yr old wants to repeat. White water rafting next!
Great time. I unexpectedly survived while my 10 year old thrived. Now she wants a job as a rafting guide. Will definitely use again if up this way. Thanks for the memories
