Llegamos a Cabarete con la idea de hacer Kite y sin tener clases contratadas. Después de pasar por varias escuelas llegamos acá y Fabio nos atendió súper bien, que desde ese momento sentimos que era ahí.
Las clases con Juan y Lu (argentinos) fueron excelentes, tenían mucha paciencia, dedicacion y amor por el deporte.
La pasamos super bien, hasta nuestra hija de 5 años, que con Fabio se entretuvo un montón. Ni ella se quería ir 😅
Vinimos por tres días, nos quedamos una semana y nos hubiéramos quedado más!

Prior to my trip to Cabarete I had emailed a few Kiteboarding shops and the only one that responded was Matteo from Cabarete Kiteboarding Club. He answered all my questions and provided me a gear rental price list. Prices were very reasonable, there was a good selection of RRD boards and everything was in very good condition l. I did not require lessons but I did observe Fabio and Ricardo instructing others. Lessons were provided in a very clear, patient and professional manner. I would highly recommend Cabarete Kiteboarding Club for lessons and gear rental, and if you are staying at the Tangerine like I did it is super convenient because they are located right next door. Jules is the best kite board instructor on the whole island! She is very patient and excellent at explaining the difficult aspects. I would highly recommend her to any beginner or expert. Ricardo and Fabio are a close second and third. They have great equipment and everyone there is super friendly.

Matteo has been instrumental in helping my husband develop his kiteboarding abilities at a later age. We’ve visited his 3 schools ( DR, Cuba) and recently Lo Stagione in Sicily where he also recommended an outstanding B&B nearby. No need to carry your equipment and pay extra airline fees. His rentals are very affordable and justified by de added bonus of switching to an appropriate kite size according to the changing wind conditions. We’re in Las Terrenas , DR now and truly wished there was another one of his kiteboarding clubs here!

I talked with shops from cabarete Bay all the way up to kite Beach looking for equipment rentals and found cabarete kiteboarding Club the best choice. Very friendly and helpful staff, wonderful accommodations and what I felt was an ideal riding location. Coming from someone with 19 years into kiting, and I highly recommend them for your kiteboarding needs
Best school in Cabarete ! Very friendly ! Very professional and caring with newest equipment and perfect teachers, - especially Radoslav !
Do never think to save money and take cheaper schools, - there is a great difference and you will feel it straight way !
They made me feel very safe and secure and I had great fun kitesurfing in Cabarete after a long break in kitesurfing!
I can highly recommend this school !

Terrific Learning Experience!
I highly recommend both this school, and Ari as an instructor. As a beginner who'd taken several hours of lessons at another school last year, I could have been deemed ready for water start. However, feeling in need of more kite control practice, I asked my instructor Ari to spend more time on the beach to review key concepts and practice, practice, practice. Whereas some instructors might not have listened to my needs as a learner, and may have instead wanted to rush me through steps, Ari was thoughtful and responsive in the approaches she took with me...not a rushed cookie-cutter approach at all. I subsequently feel more confidant and ready to continue learning the sport. Thank you Ari! You are a terrific teacher who's obviously part of a terrific organization.
