EDIT: Despite their reply to this review is for show only and they have not responded to my email sent after receiving it.
WARNING: Do not attend the boxing events put on here.
I paid £30 to watch a friend box. They had oversold the venue resulting in people (including myself) being squashed against the side walls. One of the security guards decided to single me out and violently shove me to remove me from the venue without warning. They were not displaying a SIA badge and refused to give their name.
Her colleagues told me it was as I was standing in an exit route. I would have been happy to move had I been asked and had there been space.
Whilst shoving me, the security pushed me into numerous other guests, endangering my own and others safety.
Bizarrely, once I’de left the venue the security guard attempted to mock me saying I had wasted £40 attending.
I did enquire if they would remove the dozens of other people squished along the side of the venue but was told they couldn’t as it ‘would take too long.’
No idea why I was singled out in this way as I had only been in the venue for fifteen minutes ahead of my friends bout time.
Save your money - and avoid having the same happen to you - don’t attend.
Photo attached to demonstrate the overcrowding which pushed me to the side, a supposed ‘restricted area.’

Hi Harry,
We’re very sorry to read about your experience at one of our recent boxing events. What you’ve described is not the standard we expect for anyone attending an event at Bronx Boxing Club.
Safety is something we take extremely seriously both in terms of crowd capacity and the conduct of security staff. If you were positioned in or near an exit route, you absolutely should have been approached calmly, spoken to respectfully, and given the opportunity to move.
We will put this forward with the team to try and prevent these issues from arising again. We would also like an opportunity to fix your experience with the gym and offer you a session at the gym.
We’re proud of the positive, community atmosphere we try to create at our shows, and we’re genuinely sorry that this was not your experience. Thank you for raising it. We take feedback like this seriously.

In a quiet corner of South East London, The Bronx Boxing Club has become something rather extraordinary not just a gym, but a living, breathing testament to what happens when vision, discipline and heart collide.
From the moment you step through its doors, there is a warmth that feels almost paradoxical for a boxing club. The sharp rhythm of gloves meeting pads blends with laughter, encouragement, and the unmistakable hum of community. This is not a space driven by ego, it is a space driven by growth. Seasoned fighters train alongside complete beginners. Teenagers share circuits with parents. Professionals unwind next to those simply looking to build confidence. No one is out of place. Everyone belongs.
What sets The Bronx apart is not only its immaculate training floor, thoughtfully structured programmes, and carefully curated amenities though these are impressive in their own right. It is the culture. The coaching style is innovative without being intimidating, disciplined yet deeply human. Sessions are demanding but never demeaning. Progress is celebrated loudly, setbacks handled quietly and respectfully. The environment fosters resilience in the body and clarity in the mind.
At the centre of it all stands its remarkable owner an entrepreneur of rare instinct and intelligence. Her talent for business is evident in the club’s seamless operations, its steady growth, and the loyalty of its members. But it is her social intelligence that truly elevates the space. She reads people the way others read balance sheets. She understands potential before it fully reveals itself. She has built not merely a profitable enterprise, but a sanctuary for self-belief.
Her leadership feels universal adaptable across generations, backgrounds, and ambitions. She commands respect without demanding it. She listens. She remembers names. She notices when someone is struggling. The Bronx thrives because she sees both the commercial landscape and the human one and navigates both with quiet precision.
The club’s impact stretches beyond its walls. It supports local people in ways that often go unspoken mentoring youth, offering structure to those who need it most, providing safe space and steady guidance. It stands as proof that sport can still be a vehicle for social mobility, confidence and connection. In an age where community spaces are dwindling, The Bronx feels like a revival.
And to borrow a phrase worthy of admiration: Lord Sugar, you truly picked a diamond in the rough. What stands here now is not rough at all it is polished through grit, empathy, and sharp entrepreneurial brilliance.
South East London has many gyms. But it has only one Bronx and it is thriving not only because of the punches thrown inside it, but because of the hearts strengthened within it
THE ONE!!!!!
I have been looking for a boxing gym that was near my area and came across Bronx Gym.
I attend Badgyal session, and all the women was very encouraging and supportive. The Owner was also extremely helpful and had a bubbly character. The workout itself would leave you drenched in sweat!! This place would definitely make you feel like Badgyal RiRi for sure!!!! 😂😂
100% recommended too all my ladies and men 💯
Definitely will be seeing me there again!!

So happy to hear how much you enjoyed our women's-only class and how well you got along with our other members and staff at the gym. Hope to see you at the gym again soon for a session.

Hi Jamz, we are so sad to read this review as we pride ourselves in making everyone feel welcome as soon as they walk through the door! Our receptionist this evening did have to jump in and assist someone in the class so we apologise no one was there to greet you and this isn’t the norm. We really hope you come again and can experience the friendly atmosphere we work really hard to ensure! Feel free to email us on info@bronxldn.com if we can assist with anything further. Warm regards, Bronx
