As has been our experience through several moves with Broad Street Movers, this team was fantastic. Today’s was a complicated, multi-stop, all-day move, and the crew handled it with professionalism and good humor. Sean, David, Carrell, and Frank worked incredibly well together — truly a great team.
Moves are inherently stressful, but these guys made it about as close to enjoyable as possible. They were efficient, courteous, and clearly cared about doing a great job. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend Broad Street Movers.

Don’t, as in DO NOT use this company!
I was seduced by the reviews of professionalism and great service too. It’s not at all what encountered, discovering most of my furniture scratched scuffed damaged in transit and the only piece that I paid full price for was DESTROYED, as in rendered unusable. The employee who witnessed its destruction, assured me I would be reimbursed by the company.- which definitely didn’t happen
At the heart of this experience, is that this company treated me and my property without care or respect, leaving my home, with the storm door stuck open. (Someone had to come to repair it)
I was charged 40% more than what the estimated - and am nearly $900 out of pocket to pay for a replacement part for the furniture that they destroyed.
Hunt for, read and pay for the premium insurance even if like me you’re moving less than 5 miles within the city, because when they break your things, they’ll blame you for not having it.
If you hire this company, I wish you luck - this is the 7th state that I’ve lived in and have been glad to hire professional movers before, this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had, and is the nightmare that doesn’t seem to end

Yes, your storm door got stuck and my Ops manager came out that same day and it was completely fixed within a few mins.

These are your own words, "Mover X has informed you about the unforeseen accident that neither I, nor they caused." You clearly stated our team did not cause the damages.
Re: Coverage options sent via email
It is correct that we offer basic & increased coverage for every client and they can make a choice at any time prior to the move starting. In your words, "In reviewing the communications sent to me, insurance information requires an effort to investigate and discover the finer points. You sent numerous links and reminders regarding the price, the cost of service, a week prior to the move you included instructions for securing parking permits, which I missed initially and immediately secured. I acknowledge that I may have been less than scrupulous in digging into the contract - I was very busy getting the paperwork together for securing my mortgage, securing the financing to purchase the house.. It’s not obvious, and requires explicit investigation."
I sent screenshots showing you that I sent all of that information 3 weeks prior to your move. In my confirmation to you, it's quite literally the link 2 spots above the parking guide info.
In the reminder email I sent 1 week prior to your move date, the 1st entry under "Final Moving Checklist: says literally "Lost or Damaged Items? Be sure to review your coverage options in the Valuation Guide that was attached to your confirmation email." I find it disingenuous to say that the parking guide was easy to find, but that the valuation information is "not obvious and requires explicit investigation."
This comes off to me as, "It's your fault I didn't read the information you sent me."
That being said, I even offered to let you retroactively take the full replacement value option (which is not something we do since you have the info well in advance) and reimburse you via that coverage. As indicated in your email back to me, that was not good enough. I tried to offer you a reasonable compromise considering we didn't even break your piece, but you are simply an unreasonable person.
To any business owner who has read this far, don't, as in DO NOT, give yourself the aggravation of working with Ms Powers.

We recently used Broad Street Movers to relocate from Ridley Park to Jim Thorpe and it was a fantastic experience. I was worried that the travel distance would make the move that much harder but Shawn, Dan and Will had everything under control. They made sure the job was done on schedule and were very professional. What a great bunch of guys. They handled all of our possessions with such care that I knew we were in good hands. They were polite, very knowledgeable and went out of their way to see that we were satisfied with everything they were doing. Because of these three men all of our items arrived at our new home without a scratch. I am highly impressed with the team Broad Street Movers assigned to us and would recommend them to anyone.

The Broad Street movers Shawn, Dan & Will were on time, very courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They helped me move from Ridley Park Pa to Jim Thorpe Pa. All 3 guys were friendly & smiled and chatted and made the whole experience pleasant, they took care of all my stuff and took the time to wrap and seal all my big pieces of furniture. When we got to our location they even asked where the stuff went and even helped put some of our pieces back together and in its right place. I have moved 27 time and this is my final moved and I highly recommend this company. I will absolutely call them again for future needs. I would give the company staff team a rate of 10 out of 10 for doing a excellent job helping me set up my move and a super 10 out of 10 for my mover.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! They were friendly, professional, and efficient. They truly made our move seamless - from helping us tape up last minute boxes to taking apart a bed to putting everything exactly where we wanted it in the new space! Would definitely use them again and recommend to anyone!!!

These guys were great! They moved me from a fourth floor walk up to a row house. I have a ton of books, clothes and furniture. They were quick, asked helpful questions and funny. Don't move yourself, hire professionals who are efficient and know what they are doing. They have tools and equipment for the job that makes it all quick and easy.
