Horrible experience on all levels. Ultra noisy, food came more than one hour after we ordered it and it didn't match our expectations at all. Plus, the waitors opened the door wide just in front of our table with all cold wind entering into us. Definitely the worst restaurant we have been in Bucharest.
Un restaurant foarte drăguț, situat între blocuri, cu o terasă plăcută. Mâncarea este excelentă, porțiile sunt generoase, iar pastelele sunt delicioase. Deserturile merită în mod special încercate – sunt absolut savuroase. Atmosfera este primitoare și perfectă pentru o masă relaxantă cu prietenii sau familia.
Un restaurant elegant cu un meniu bogat.
Bucatele sunt foarte gustoase, porții mari și preturi bune.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Very Disappointing Experience at Britannia Restaurant
I visited Britannia today with my family and ordered the Chicken Valdostana. Instead of the classic recipe with mushrooms and white sauce, it arrived covered in red tomato sauce. When I politely asked the waitress why the dish wasn’t prepared as it normally should be, she bluntly replied that “this is how the cook makes it.” There was no apology, no explanation, and no attempt to help.
Even though it was obvious I wasn’t eating the food, she said nothing, simply cleared the untouched plate at the end and brought the bill as if nothing had happened.
What made the situation worse is that there seemed to be no supervisor or manager on duty. All the servers acted as if they were in charge, but none showed any initiative, care, or empathy. This was especially disappointing as it was my third day in a row dining there — and just two days earlier, both the food quality and service had been excellent.
Unfortunately, this experience shows what happens when a place becomes overconfident and stops listening to its guests. Poor service, poor attitude, and zero effort to resolve a simple issue.
I won’t be returning again.
