My parents moved house yesterday and Rob W and Dan W were the team moving them. Bright and bubbly, professional and efficient. They were a joy to deal with and just what we needed in a stressful situation. Would thoroughly recommend. Second time we’ve used Britannia and will use again.

Dave, Chris, Wez and Carl were an amazing team that did a fantastic job of our packing and entire move. They had great communication throughout the process and made a stressful day into a great experience. I highly recommend their service.

My wife and I are relocating to France and Britannia made this so easy for us. From the get go Louise was great, she came to see us where we’re living and also to our storage location so that she could assess the volume of the load. Tina was really helpful with all the paperwork and the two guys who collected everything were also brilliant. When everything arrived in France - and everything did and in one piece - the lorry couldn’t make it all the way along our drive, but got to about 120 metres from the house and then Taff the Driver and Lee the Porter jumped into action. Lou and I were also only too happy to help and we were able to ferry stuff from the lorry to the house with my truck. It was a real team effort, but Lee and Taff worked like trojans. And the fact they couldn’t get the lorry all the way to the house, and they really couldn’t, didn’t phase them at all. They were great and we would definitely use them again.

Very helpful and adaptable during our time needing storage. They made moving from a large unit to a small unit, and now finishing with that small unit, simple and hassle free.

We used Britannia Beckwith for a move from lewes to Brighton. I run an interior design business so I organise at least 4 moves a year for private clients. This has been the best move I have done in years. Dave, Chris, Paul and Karl were fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble and they listened to everything they were told so were one step ahead all the time. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough. The packing team were very professional and cheery - among them were Mark & Ben who moved all our boxes and furniture into the new house with real care - it was nice that the move-in guys were part of the packing team, so they knew us a bit and were familiar with some of our precious / tricky items (such as the mini grand piano!). Highly recommend this company for a big house move.

We have used Britannia Beckwith Newhaven for a few times and would recommend them highly. Our recent move went smoothly, from Emily in the office responding quickly and efficiently with arrangements to Paul, Rob and Pete who worked cheerfully throughout a long day of the move.

We have moved house today and Dave, Chris, Ant, Mark and Jimmy have been just superb throughout the day. Polite and cheerful and phenomenally hard working. It was a hot day too and they just cracked on putting in every effort to ensure we were happy which made the day really easy for us. I recently had the pleasure of working with an exceptional team from Britannia Beckwith, who assisted with furniture relocation/ removals at the University of Brighton. Dave, Chris, Paul, Lee, Carl, Ben, Wez, and Louise were absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Their professionalism and efficiency were evident throughout the entire process. They arrived on time and immediately got to work, handling all items with the utmost care. Each member of the team displayed excellent coordination and communication, ensuring that everything was moved smoothly and without any issues. What particularly stood out was their positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile. They were not only skilled and diligent but also friendly and approachable, making what could have been a stressful day much more manageable. They took special care with fragile items and ensured that everything was placed exactly where we needed it. I cannot recommend this team highly enough. I had a really terrible experience with this removal company who were moving us to Italy. We hadn’t been to the new property in question as we had to move at relatively short notice. I expected them to handle all the paperwork properly and to move our belongings to the new property with care, but we got none of those things. They didn’t seem prepared for customs and had not completed any of the relevant paperwork so their lorry got delayed there. They kept asking for things like my husband’s passport details, all of which had been given to them already. They seemed to be winging it and not know what they were doing. They kept complaining that they had another job to go to and this was taking up too much of their time. When they got to the apartment block in Italy the access was tight so they hastily dumped all our belongings in a warehouse outside the city. They caused a great deal of damage, smashing a wine fridge, breaking knobs off an antique desk and breaking a sofa bed. They’d dismantled everything and left it in bits. Screws had disappeared for beds and could not be located. Protective covers had been removed and our sofas were all filthy. We ended up having to hire another removal company to complete the job which cost us an extra £4,500 on top of the nearly £12k Britannia was paid. Their communication was poor throughout and I tried to address this with them afterwards but they just didn’t reply to my email. I would avoid this company at all costs. Apparently it’s in their small print that they don’t actually have to move your stuff to the new property if access is a bit difficult! Don’t expect them to handle your belongings with any care.

A big thanks to James, Mark C and Wesley! They packed and removed then delivered all our stuff very professionally but with good humor and patience... They made the move very easy for us. We would use Britannia again - But we'd nag them terrible so could have these three to do the move - they were that good! The company itself were great with a comparable cost to move - again, professional with good humor - could not ask for better.

Dave, Wez and Barry were incredible. I've never seen a team work so hard whilst being professional and good humoured. Emily and Zoe in the office were really helpful and took the stress out of the situation. I wouldn't have wanted to move with anyone else.
