Hovarian magazine has the perfect balance of advice and information regarding local news, community projects, local businesses (adverts make you trust they are good, fair companies to deal with), personal stories, topical aspects of Hove, details of weekly events and my favourite, at least one perspective on Hove and Portslade’s fascinating history.
I am involved with a ‘History of Hove’ group which invites speakers to share their knowledge and research on many and various aspects of Hove’s history. I take copies to give to members of the group who don’t get it delivered - they love it, especially the mystery picture quiz! Hovarian also gives us inspiration for future topics.
I want to thank you for the quality of both the content and the magazine itself, with clear, well presented print and images. There are always numerous articles of interest to read.
I look forward to receiving Hovarian every month; long may it continue.

Love The Brightonian. It really has a good community feel. We advertised a charity concert and the audience was really a new cohort of people, due I believe to the wide reach of the Brightonian.

I'm always delighted when The Hovarian arrives; it's good for finding out the new things that are happening across the community. Recently, the folks at Brighton & Hove magazines published a piece about my talks programme, Curious Histories, which helps small charities across the city.
