David Tromp, Miguel Farias, Onur Yildirim and the whole team are outstanding. They got high level of expertise, strategic thinking, and attention to detail and helped drafting one of the strongest arguments. It is a challenging process, yet the whole team remained fully committed and never gave up.

I had a great experience working with the Law Office of Chris M. Ingram, and I especially want to recognize Lazaro Carrillo for his outstanding support throughout my case. Lazaro took the time to truly understand my background and the specifics of my situation, which made a huge difference. He provided clear, thoughtful direction on how to improve my paperwork and ensured everything was aligned properly. His attention to detail and willingness to guide me step-by-step gave me a lot of confidence in the process. What stood out the most was his patience and consistent communication. He stayed connected with me, answered my questions promptly, and made sure I felt supported at every stage. I highly recommend this firm, and if you have the opportunity to work with Lazaro, you’ll be in excellent hands.

Ingram has been really helpful and professional during the entire process of case preparation and filing. The case worker was in continuous touch through the process and had put in all the efforts covering the details with evidence against the categories. With Thanks!

I had a very disappointing experience working with Ingram. They charged significantly higher attorney fees but the quality of service did not match the cost. There were repeated delays in handling my case, and the submission process took over a year, which is far longer than what was communicated at the beginning. Despite the long wait, the work was not done correctly, leading to additional frustration and lack of confidence in their services. Communication was inconsistent, and I often had to follow up multiple times to get updates. Overall, I would not recommend their services based on my experience.

"I am thrilled to share that my EB1A petition was recently approved! Navigating the 'Extraordinary Ability' category is incredibly daunting, but Andres Gomez, Miguel Farias made the process seamless. They were exceptionally strategic in how they framed my professional achievements and helped me identify the strongest evidence for each criterion. Their attention to detail and deep understanding of USCIS trends were the keys to my success. If you are looking for a firm that truly understands high-skilled immigration, look no further."

I worked with this firm for 16 months on an EB-1A petition. My caseworkers were Alberto Requego and Laura Ulloa. The draft they delivered contained: 1. Damaging, unvetted content - They wrote about my employer's "distinguished reputation" then immediately followed with: "XXXX has been embroiled in controversies, including engaging in automatic denials of insurance claims without reviewing them." This was clearly AI-generated text they copy-pasted without reading. It directly contradicts the argument and harms my case. 2. Wrong petitioner name - The opening line identified someone else as the petitioner. Another copy-paste from a template without basic review. 3. Approved by internal review - This draft, with all these errors, passed their quality control process. I provided a detailed 40-page reference document to guide the petition. They ignored it and wrote what was convenient for them instead. Mistakes happen, but this goes beyond acceptable errors. The draft wasn't salvageable - I am working with them for a rewrite. For the investment of time, money, and the stakes involved in immigration cases, this level of care is unacceptable. Choose your attorney very carefully.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear about your experience and understand how concerning these issues were, especially given the high stakes involved in an EB-1A petition.

We take concerns about accuracy, quality control, and use of client-provided materials very seriously. The errors you identified in the draft you received do not reflect the standards we strive to uphold, and we acknowledge your frustration with the review process that allowed them to pass through.

As mentioned, we are actively working with you on a comprehensive rewrite to address the issues raised and ensure the petition accurately reflects your background, evidence, and strategy. We appreciate the time and effort you invested in providing detailed reference materials, and those materials are being fully incorporated in the revised draft.

We value client feedback, as it helps us improve our internal processes and safeguards. If you would like to discuss this further, please have a meeting with your Supervising Attorney to discuss your concerns.

We wish you the best as your case moves forward.

I have personally had awful experiences dealing with Chris M. Ingram's law firm and feel there are very important factors to consider before you work with this firm. The initial contract fee given was about $11,000, which included three EB-1A categories. From the start, during the CV review stage, they indicated to me that a lot of applicants are turned down, and they had “approved” my CV. Upon further examination, I came to realize this appears to be their generic response to nearly all applicants. Even if the CV is very weak for EB-1A, they typically advise the applicant that it is “good enough” to move forward with the case and take the fee. After the CV review stage, they requested 1/3 of the payment to begin the case. Once I made the payment, I went through almost a full month of inactivity before any significant work was completed. When my case did finally begin, it was extremely slow. I would receive a draft for only one category every 1.5 to 2 months, which added to the delays of the case. I believe it is very evident that the firm had not understood my CV and did not have a complete knowledge about my work experience and accomplishments, even after 3 months. The drafts were indicative of the lack of knowledge about my work and accomplishments. Overall, the entire experience was exhausting. After nearly 11 months, my petition was filed, and I was very stressed out during the entire period. I sent frequent email inquiries asking if they could expedite the process and would receive the exact same response: “Our team is very busy so please be patient.” This was a generic reply that was sent back to me every time. Another significant issue with the firm is their fee structure. The $11,000 fee is for only three categories of EB-1A. If I wanted to add more categories, I would be charged an additional fee of $1,500 per category added. Based off my experience with them, they aggressively suggested I draft four or five categories, thus increasing my overall expense. From their correspondence, it was made to appear as though the focus of structuring my case was to maximize their fee and not to present the best case possible. When I received the request for evidence (RFE) and thoroughly reviewed it, I was shocked. USCIS seemed to have no idea what my professional occupation entailed, which leads me to believe that this petition was not written in a clear, accurate, or focused manner. This gave me great concern. Following the RFE, the firm sent me a “review” indicating that they could respond to the RFE, but again for an additional fee of $1,500 per category that needed to be re-done. At this point, it felt like the entire case had been set up to generate additional fees in the way of response to an RFE. After waiting for 11 months, I received an RFE in which only one out of the four submitted categories was accepted. The attorneys requested an additional $1,500 per category to re-draft the arguments, plus another $1,500 to rewrite the Final Merits Determination section. In total, this amounted to approximately $6,000 in additional fees. Overall, it seems that the firm is using a strategy to continuously delay the case, add additional information to the case unnecessarily, and continue to charge for added services. They take simple, straightforward successes and make them convoluted by using difficult, indirect, and vague language when writing about the successes. As a result, the officer may fail to clearly understand what field you are in and what your true accomplishments are. Based on my experience and after having reviewed many other EB-1A petitions, I strongly advise applicants with strong CVs to avoid this firm. If you are looking for truly professional, strategic, and efficient legal work, this is not the right place. As an immigrant, I was already dealing with financial pressure and significant stress. Unfortunately, this firm multiplied that stress — and in the end, I did not achieve a positive result.

We take client feedback seriously. However, after reviewing our records, we are unable to identify this individual as a current or former client of our firm. If you were indeed our Client and wish to discuss your concerns further, we invite you to contact the firm directly so they can be addressed through the appropriate channels.

Immigration matters, particularly EB-1A petitions, are inherently complex, discretionary, and often emotionally and financially demanding, and we understand how difficult that can be for applicants.

That said, we want to clarify a few important points. Our firm does not guarantee outcomes, nor do we represent that approval at any stage is assured. All clients are advised that EB-1A adjudications can be subjective and that USCIS standards evolve. Our Firm does not issue RFEs and we do our best to present applications that satisfy the statutory/ regulatory requirements for this classification. Decisions to proceed, including the number of categories presented, are discussed with and approved by the client before filing. In fact, many of our Clients choose to proceed with the minimum three categories and have been successful. We just received an outright approval for a Client with three categories, no RFE issued.

For clarity, our firm’s fee structure is transparent and disclosed in advance. We currently offer EB-1A representation for up to four categories for a flat fee. We also offer an option that includes four categories plus an RFE response for a flat fee, as well as refiling after a denial with no additional attorney fees.

EB-1A Case preparation timelines can vary significantly depending on case complexity, evidence development, and client responsiveness and we strive to communicate this clearly throughout representation. While this individual is claiming an 11-month timeline, without knowing the name or verifying the case in our system, we cannot ascertain whether this person proactively accumulated and provided the requisite evidence necessary to move the application forward in a timely manner.

If you believe this review relates to a matter handled by our firm, please contact your Supervising Attorney or Case Supervisor so the matter can be reviewed appropriately. Thank you.

I would caution Indian applicants considering this firm. Following process changes introduced in 2025, my experience was below expectations. Communication was often careless—for example, even basic details such as the client’s email address were recorded incorrectly. Matters were repeatedly pushed close to deadlines, leaving little to no room for course correction. The paralegal support, in particular, lacked the level of competence and proactive guidance one would expect, and I often found myself without clear direction on next steps. Overall, the service did not reflect the standard required for a high-stakes immigration process.

I had a very frustrating experience with significant delays on my refiling. Communication was slow, timelines kept slipping, and the process caused unnecessary stress—especially given how time-sensitive the filing was. At one point I genuinely felt ignored, which is why I initially left a strongly worded review. After I escalated the issue, the team did take responsibility, prioritized my case, and completed the review and filing quickly. I appreciate that they stepped in at that stage and resolved it. My experience had both negative and positive parts: the initial delays were difficult, but the final response and expedited handling were helpful and ensured the filing went through successfully.
