The service advisors at Bourgeois were not only well informed and courteous but very sympathetic to my problems.

I scheduled an 8 AM appointment at Quick Lane (Bourgeois Motors Ford in Midland) to have my snow tires installed, four bolts replaced on the engine splash guard, and a slow coolant leak diagnosed. I dropped my car off at 5 AM using the key drop box.
When I returned at 3 PM after work, my car was exactly where I had left it—untouched. Not a single task had been started. Only after I said I would need to take my car elsewhere did they finally bring it into the shop. They changed the tires and then presented me with a $431 estimate to replace the splash guard and bolts, and an astonishing $978 estimate to fix a “leaking” water pump.
I told them the splash guard was less than a year old, and the service advisor responded, “Oh, that shouldn’t be on there then” which did nothing to inspire confidence.
I literally just needed them to install 4 bolts in the splash guard but they said they didn't have them in stock which I understand.
The next day I took my car to a reputable independent shop, where the coolant issue was properly diagnosed within 1 hour of me dropping it off as opposed "Quick Lanes" to 7 hours.
There was a small crack in the coolant reservoir.
The total cost? $282.06. Not nearly a thousand dollars for a water pump I didn’t need.
Based on this experience, I strongly advise avoiding Quick Lane at Bourgeois Motors Ford in Midland. Whether the problem is indifference or incompetence, the outcome is the same: unnecessary upselling, inaccurate diagnostics, and a clear lack of professional care. I will not be returning, and I recommend others take their vehicles elsewhere.

When your vehicle was in our shop, our technician performed a coolant system pressure test, which is the standard diagnostic procedure when a coolant leak is suspected. During this test, we observed a definite leak coming from the water pump area, which is why the estimate for water pump replacement was provided. Our recommendations were based strictly on the results of that pressure test and the leak detected at that time.
We would like to extend an offer to you to bring your car back in at no charge to you so we can perform the pressure test again and show you the leak at the water pump.
Regarding the splash shield bolts, it’s correct that we did not have the specific hardware in stock that day which is why we were unable to complete that portion of the repair during your appointment.
We fully understand your frustration with the delay in getting your vehicle into the shop, and we apologize that your service experience did not meet your expectations. It would appear that your original appointment was scheduled for 3 pm for just the seasonal tire installation. When you called back to add the coolant leak inspection, I think there may have been a miss communication on our part as to the expected time of completion. Customer trust is extremely important to us, and we will be reviewing the details of your visit to ensure improvements are made.

I recently purchased my very first car - a 2025 Ford Bronco Sport from Bourgeois Ford and I couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience. I worked with Greg, who was incredibly helpful from start to finish. He answered every question I had and made the entire process stress-free.
I also worked with Dan from finance, who walked me through the purchasing process clearly and professionally. Both of them made me feel at ease with my decisions.
Even though I live quite far from this location (over 2 hours) the team went above and beyond to help. When I had trouble finding a ride to pick up the vehicle, Greg coordinated delivery straight to my home.
