After sending over our house drawings, Brian provided an analysis and shared his initial thoughts on the design. We don’t know much about the technical engineering terms, but he explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Working with Blue Sky on our home was smooth and straightforward, and I would highly recommend them!

Clifton is great to work with on engineering projects. This is my second time working with him on a project. Clifton is a great communicator, thorough, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of my questions on the project and worked with me to ensure my project turned out as planned. I would highly recommend Clifton for any structural engineering project.
Great communication and super easy to work with. Very response to a concerns and explained things in a simplified way that was easy for me to understand having no prior experience in the subject. 10/10 would call again!!

Great experience! Super quick and easy to schedule. Brian was easy to work with, explained things clearly in a way we could understand, and was very thorough. We really appreciated that he took a practical approach and didn’t try to scare us into making repairs that weren’t essential. Gave good insights into things he observed and the options available. On top of that, pricing was very fair. Would use again!

Clifton Palmer did a very thorough site visit and answered all our questions about the remodeling plans and structural feasibility of what we wanted done. He provided us with detailed structural engineering plans ensuring that the changes we were planning to make were to code and structurally sound. I highly recommend Clifton Palmer of Blue Sky Engineering for all structural engineering work.

First of all, communication for scheduling the site visit was excellent. Then at the site visit, Clifton was very thorough and addressed every one of my many questions - including investigating a separate issue with the house that came up in conversation. There were no hidden fees, just the previously agreed upon site visit charge. I got very helpful information and would definitely use Blue Sky Engineering again.
Clifton has been very helpful, willing to discuss options, supportive of some logical changes proposed by the framers, and just generally nice to work with. Prices are fair and I'm happy to have quality plans for our renovation changes which give me piece of mind at night. TY Blue Sky team.

The guys with blue sky engineering are amazing! We had them out to our home to assess potential foundation and structural issues we had been told were occurring by foundation “specialists”. They were honest and straightforward with us, and they were able to reassure us that there wasn’t anything going on with our home that we needed to be concerned with. They really gave us peace of mind and patiently answered all of our questions. I highly recommend them, we will be using them in the future with other homes we may purchase!
Side note - please be carful when reaching out to foundation repair companies, they tried to oversell a pier system that wasn’t necessary for our home. We were able to save so much time and money (about $55k) by calling out Blue Sky to do an inspection.

We're preparing to sell our home, which has some cracks in the garage's brickwork and floor. We first spoke to a foundation repair company, who made us sit through a long presentation and told us we needed a $32,000 Push Pier system.
Clifton from Blue Sky Engineering came out promptly and determined the cracks were not concerning from a structural perspective and did not need to be addressed. He also provided a letter we can include in our disclosures for potential buyers.
Please do yourself a favor. If you have structural concerns with your property, call Blue Sky Engineering before you call anyone else. They'll guide you to the solution you actually need.
