When we decided to get a pool for our 25th Anniversary we asked around and everyone we knew with a pool said "Don't use who we used" 😳. My husband worked with someone who was getting a pool that recommended we use Blue Haven. (We had a few companies out first but decided to go with Blue Haven after they were recommended).... It was a big process! We started in November 2025 and here we are in June 2026 just getting finished. It did not go smoothly! We had a few issues which are to be expected when taking on a big project. To me a good review looks good for the company but it should be to show appreciation to great employees. Everyone knows that at every company you have good and not so good employees. We had a few employees that could have helped much more but in my opinion that was made up for by the exceptional employees that stepped in to make things right. AquaShop had some amazing employees! Wesley was very helpful and went out of his way to help us figure stuff out in the middle of a snowstorm! Jonathan ... I can't say enough good things about him!! He was great! He listened and made us feel heard and helped to get a response when we were dealing with a leak that was being ignored by our Project Manager. Jonathan and these other guys I am mentioning are the five star employees that I am writing this review about! Duncan with aquashop was also very helpful. Lastly I was sent to Jeff S. This man came in towards the end when we were trying to get a issue with the plaster addressed and again our Project Manager wasn't handling it. He sent me to Jeff after letting me know he couldn't make me happy. So Jeff came and spent a long time swimming around the pool carefully inspecting the plaster he did this with a objective of making sure it was done right. He was truly kind and respectful! We picked out a plaster with beautiful shiny stones. The plaster we had in the pool had none. He told us we were correct. The plaster was not right and he went out of his way to have it fixed! We wouldn't have the pool we wanted if he did not step in and listen to our concerns and take us seriously. Jeff is the reason I am doing a five star review. So was the entire experience five star... NO but most big projects you take on will be hard! What makes a project a five star experience is the truly kind and considerate employees that make dealing with the hard times a little easier. 🌟

Blue Haven did a great job. I enjoyed working with the team Matt and David were great. That said - do your homework and inspect what you expect. Like any project - being hands off is not an option and you do have to drive expectations a little. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to others. My completed product is beautiful and I’m very happy with it.

I would not recommend this pool company based on my experience. The workmanship fell well below my expectations, and several aspects of the project appeared rushed or improperly completed. I noticed issues with the quality of the work that should have been caught and corrected before the job was considered finished. When concerns were brought to the company's attention, the response was disappointing, and I was left feeling that customer satisfaction was not a priority. A project as significant and expensive as a pool installation should be completed with attention to detail and pride in the finished product. Unfortunately, the quality of the work did not justify the cost, and I would advise others to thoroughly inspect all work and get clear commitments regarding quality standards before hiring this company. Most recently they came out to fix an uneven tile and again the workmanship is very poor. I have reached out to Landon Hoffman and requested he come out and inspect the poor workmanship himself and no response. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company!

We just purchased a house in Fort Mill with an existing Blue Haven Pools. Landon from blue Haven came out and educated us on how to use the pool. He was amazing. He was kind, courteous, and professional. Amazing customer service! 10 stars!

They began working on my mother’s pool in January. She made her payment in installments, and once she made the final payment, they have stopped responding to messages. They worked a total of 23 days since January, and now she has an unfinished pool on Memorial Day weekend. We are contacting the BBB - save your money and time and go elsewhere.

We understand delays can be frustrating. In this case, construction was paused due to non-payment per the terms of the agreement, which unfortunately impacted the overall timeline. Work resumed once the account was addressed, and the pool is being plastered today. Had payments been made as scheduled, the project would have been completed sooner.

We had a Gunite pool and spa installed in our backyard, including travertine decking and coping. Our Blue Haven sales person and project manager communicated very well regarding all aspects of the project at each step and addressed any concerns or questions we presented. We are very happy with the complement of color with the pool water for the travertine, tile, and plaster choices. It was very interesting to observe each step of the process, from initial marking and excavation to cement shoot, plastering, and deck installation, as the final result began to take shape. Equipment setup and follow up support has been very good as we have been enjoying the pool.

13 years ago we chose Blue Haven Pools to create our beautiful gunite inground pool a the new home we were building. There was backyard was an empty field of red clay. What Blue Haven created was magic and has been one of the best investments in terms of family, enjoyment, and outside recreation we’ve ever made. On top of that their Customer Service Is as good now as it was 13 years ago. They have helped guide us in our journey of Pool ownership, providing quality referrals for maintenance, and free advice if it’s something that we can do. Our ultimate choice to use Blue Haven was based on the company name behind the product and that has proved to be a winning decision.
