This was our second project with Blue Haven pools. We have referred multiple friends, families, and neighbors to the company who have also used them. The experience was different this time, although the final result still turned out beautiful. Pros: Beautiful pool, budget friendly, good options. Cons: I felt like I was pestering trying to communicate. I thought at the conclusion of the project that there would be a final walk through and clean up. There was quite the mess left behind and no final walk through to go over the project. I felt like some of the contractors they used weren’t the best. The plaster company got plaster all over the pool decking and tile, the cool decking hasn’t really held up in some areas, there are things on the slide and rocks that have already started to deteriorate (I understand they are natural, but it’s only been a month), the lines in the concrete aren’t straight, just a lot of little imperfections. We have had a lot of issues with the pool equipment not connecting to the app so we have to manually reset it outside most times. I’m not sure if that’s the App or the equipment. Jason and Richard were really great, and Geoff connected us with some good companies for other projects such as Sunshield for the patio covers and BBQ Bills for the outdoor kitchen. It was nice being able to communicate with Starr through text. It was a very large project, and overall, everything turned out fine.

We worked with Geoff Christoph at Blue Haven Pools in Las Vegas NV after buying our new home. Throughout the design process, Geoff was attentive, creative and thoughtful about our options. He provided guidance and was open to our needs and wants, helping us think through what would complement both our home and our site. Once construction started, the team that took over was top notch. They stayed on schedule, kept us informed and every single employee or subcontractor who came to our home was courteous, responsive to us and diligent in getting their work done. Geoff projected it would take about 90 days to complete our pool and that’s almost exactly what it took! Mellissa and Starr, who managed schedules were AMAZING! They kept us informed every step of the way, were always accessible to us and very professional throughout the process. Jason managed the construction process and Richard managed the go-live education process, both were easily accessible and efficient in getting things done. We experienced a challenge with our sheer descents a year after our pool was completed. One phone call to Geoff and within a quick window of time, they were replaced and now they’re perfect. We have consistently told everyone how impressed we are with Blue Haven and our pool-building experience. They may not have been the least expensive choice, but five stars are well-deserved.

Contracted thru Blue Haven to have our pool replastered which also included adding about 6" of tile around the inside perimeter. Also replaced the flagstone around the perimeter. The pool was built in 1996 and this is the only major project that has been done since Blue Haven initially built this pool. This is why we chose the same company to do the replastering. The project was completed several weeks prior to the projected completion date. We are very satisfied with the job Blue Haven has done and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for a new pool and/or upgrades. Starr the Project Coordinator was easily accessible by phone and text. She kept us well informed of the project schedule and answered all of our questions. Richard would always be available and inspecting the contractors work, resolving any issues that arose. After completion of the pool Richard started it back up and ensured all equipment was working properly and the pool water was correctly balanced. His skills in working with all the different subcontractors, in my opinion, is why this project was completed way ahead of schedule and with a stunning finished product. Blue Haven is also sending out a pool tech once a week for the next 8 weeks to add the appropriate chemicals to the water and ensure all is well. I think this is a nice touch and shows concern for customer satisfaction and overall pride of their business. r/s jrs Las Vegas.

Overall we had a good experience with this company. The pool was designed awesome. Art was AMAZING !! I would recommend him. dealt with the superintendent and had some pushback initially but ended up compromising and getting a desired outcome. Everything went smooth but I finally got hit with "that's not our responsibility" when the grading/leveling of the leftover dirt was more than when we started the project. That is the reason for the lower rating for the Superintendent. One other reason not a 5 star experience, is because when you get to the 1st day of demolition, that's when you get hit with a checklist/signed agreement that states the "homeowner" is responsible to basically put your backyard back together at your own cost. So they dug holes and channels all in the dirt to put the piping and electrical. Well they ripped out the already installed turf and removed all the decorative rock and pavers to do so, after the pool is built, that's on you to put back together. It won't be done by the pool company. I should have asked this question way ahead of time and worked something out. That partially on me for not asking and not understanding. In the end I did get some aide/compensation for being burdened as such. One other reason for the lower rating is they installed a "cool deck" with a textured finish, well 1-2 weeks after application it stained from rain and weather. It had dozens of nicks and gouges from walking, placing down common tools, using a stepladder etc. and now I can't get a proper sealant and have to deal with calling the company out every month for warranty work and that's a 2-3 days cure time which interferes with swim time/fun time. I asked for a sealant job from the pool company and was denied. So I have to deal with an inferior product with unknown longevity.

We purchased our pool thru Blue Haven in 2015, ten years later we had an issue with the plaster failing in one area. Starr was amazing, she coordinated all of the repairs. Her communication was wonderful, consistently following up to ensure that the repairs were done properly and completely. She is so professional and personable. The service provided by Blue Haven Pools was outstanding from the scheduling to the repair. We had an issue with our spa heater. The professionalism provided from the entire team was fantastic. We expected to have an issue but when we called they were courteous and responsive. The technician quickly identified the problem and was able to repair it on the first visit. He also found other problems that we were unaware of and took care of that as well. Overall we are completely satisfied with the communication from the coordinator and the service technician.
